Banpresto Original characters only have voice since SRWF, a remake version of SRW4.

i only played srw 2, alpha, alpha gaiden on the ps1

SRW 4 is a very decent game...it's a huge upgrade from SRW 3 and EX. Of course, Alpha series are much much better...

The main problem with SRW 4 is that aliens use too many juggernaut units. It takes one hit to blow up one of your robots whereas it takes 5 to 12 hits to blow up Restrails and Geios Gluds.
