For "bayerna" and "cuiter23", let me say that a 996TT with and ECU tune and Ti exhaust going from 4th to 5th is doing around 140... That said, the E92 (a phenominal machine) is powered to all hell with the G-Power tuning, but also weighs quite a bit more. I would say this is an accurate post. Top 2nd and bottom to mid 3rd the E92 had the advantage, now the rest was all in weight advantage to the Porsche.

The porsche has more power than the "G-Power" M3 and it weighs less, which is why it is faster. If this 996 Turbo S with a tune, exhuast, and race gas raced a stock E92 M3, it wouldve pulled air craft carrier lengths.
