  • Awesome dude !!!!

  • Ur awesome dude !!!!!

  • @sinister4lyf Thanks Sin, I do try :)

  • Very nice, hopefully I can grasp this by tomorrow, thanks a bunch.

And I noticed on the tabs you wrote that it's got Round and Round on it, a double whammy of songs, I love Ratt so that'll be a nice one to learn too.

  • that fucking last lick damn shoulda said something about the picking

  • Dhanur would like to inform you....he is confused

  • u go to fast!!!!!

  • @mrwooliesheep theres a pause button

  • yeah the C note on the B string (13th fret) is the perfect 4th of the G major scale, the F# note on the G string (11th fret) is the the 7th note of the G major scale. All in all a great video on a tasteful solo. Best of all, all of the bends are in tune! Nice job and thanks for posting!

  • Thanks man!! Gonna get this tight so my friends and I can rock the local open mic!!

  • i have electric guitar and taht's it..what do I need to do to make it sound like yours does..some effect pedal? Please explain in detail.thanks,.

  • Nice lesson Thanks.. Lots of covers on youtube without the solo.. Will be nice to add the solo to make it different than everyone elses..

  • great video. thanks for sharing, keep rocking!!!!

  • i was lost at penatonics

  • you're a genius. i like you.ü

  • thanks! got it now....

  • Excellent work. Well done!

  • Good vid man....Cheers

  • hey bro what tuning r u in?

  • Thanks (: a lot!

  • Nice work bro!

  • You went way to fast and you didn't even say what some of the fret numbers were. I ended up learning from tabs so your video doesn't help a beginner too much.

  • nice guitar

  • Could you send me the tabs for this please because im having a bit of trouble

    thanks Ben:)

  • @bendubz1 I just uploaded the tabs to photobucket. Look for the link in the description under the video. Good Luck bro.

  • @stateofmindrocks Thankyouu sooo much , its helped me alot few more weeks of practicing i think i will have it :) Thanks .

  • @sprawlmessiah nOW THAT IS A GREAT "MEDIUM SKILLED SOLO MY BRUTHA!!

  • @bendubz1 Hi Ben get guitar pro its a good piece of software and this track is on it good luck

  • All the people who hate on Poison can just eat shit. CC is one of a kind. Nice job.

  • good lesson dude. very simple. like it alot.

  • dude you are amazing keep playing guitar this is awesome

  • That's awesome man, I've been playing for 15 years and have been playing this song since I first started. Now I can do the solo which is great since I'm considering making a cd for my friends and family. You've got a new subscriber!

  • its g major pentatonic scale thats where youre getting those extra notes

  • Thanks a lot partner.

  • so is this solo still in the key of g major even though your playing in the eminor pentatonic 1st position?

  • Yup, they are one and the same. I messed up alittle explaining it on the fly during the video.

  • ahhh it makes sense!!!! so the 15th fret is the g minor position

  • Well the 12th would be the E minor position and the 15th would be the G Major position. They are the same notes but it depends on the chords being played while you solo whether they sound like G major or E minor. Playing G,D,and C will make the scale sound like G major. Playing Em, Am, and Bm will make them sound like E minor.

  • @smigio111188 E minor is the relative minor of G major.. You pinky finger is on the G.. Same pentatonic scale shape as Em but roots are different.

  • awsome song.. and this is way better than reading tabs while listening...ive only been playin for a year and i learned that last lick watchin you the first time...make some more vids man peace

  • A+ man thanks for sharing--good job

  • Great Job Better than Tab!!

  • cant follow it mate slow down and explain it better

  • thanks it was perfect got it all in 20 min

  • Very good man sounds perfect

  • Where can I find the right tab for it?

  • nice nice nice nice nice the best HELLO I AM PERU

  • dude what is that guitar model and much does it cost

  • That's an old old Harmony guitar. I forgot how much it cost though, sorry.

  • It's G major pentatonic not E minor pentatonic. Same notes, but the song is in G so the scale is G major pentatonic. The C and F# are part of the G major scale, the 4th and major 7th respectively not the 6th and 9th of E minor.

  • Yup, your right.

  • i think you need to slow down a little. i really couldn't follow. =/ other than that great job! keep it up!

  • the only thing that bothers me about this video is, you keep calling it the flat 6th. actually its not that c on the 13th fret is from the e minor scale/aeolian.

  • Hm. This could work. I'm looking for a guitar teacher myself, but... I can't figure out how I would go about getting one in my area. They all charge so much :/ and my brother can't instruct me anymore because he is too busy with his new girlfriend to give a shit, so. Meh. Anyways, I got an aim name, maybe you could help me out sometime? I don't really care what methods, as long as I get taught lol -shrug- anyways, see ya. good video man

  • thank you sir, this is how every instructional guitar video should be made, keep up the good work, it's helping a lot of us out

  • dude... thanks to ur video.. i manage both solos now.... tqtqtqtqtq... bcoz ur tuning is same as my standarn tuning... the poison video is 1 note down.. so its hard to imitate it...thanks for teachin it...

  • what amp are you using?

  • I'm using my practice amp. It's a Roland Micro Cube set on the R-fier setting. I love that little amp. Thanks

  • my guitar goes out of tune every time i use the whammy bar, do you know what i can do :[

  • You could use a guitar with a locking tremolo which can help. Whammy bars just knock guitars out of tune though. Good luck man.

  • I say sell it as soon as possible to some gullable idiot and by a guitar with a locking bridge. If you really need the temelo effect on all the strings give the neck a GENTLE pull/push and it'll sound the same just mabey not as pronounced and it won't bring your guitar out of tune. Good luck.

  • I know the strumming part of the song is tuned down a hafl step but is tuned down for the sole?

  • Yup your so right the solo is tuned down a half step to.

  • WOW

  • Hi - I love this tute. It's an old favourite. Do you have any lessons on how to pick the strings - especially for the really fast parts? Do you pick both in up and down directions? Sorry - I'm still a newbie in awe with your speed.

  • The really fast parts are hammer-ons and pull-offs.
