It's a paper tape, which is easily removable from skin, fur, hair. My doctor gave me stretch bandage and paper tape when I injured my arm. You're supposed to tear off a piece of the paper tape to hold the white bandage in its place.

What's more interesting is that the cat is walking away from the direction of the tape as if by walking away, the tape will fall off! Cool.
