  • oooh Man! that's Gotta hurt im so Glad that you and horse horse are doing just fine can't wait to see you and your wife catch more loose horses in the future videos

  • This is a cool vid. Great job by the way! That was awsome! Great horse too! Hope it is alright!

  • Wow!! Great job!! I hope your horse's wound cleared up nicely... How do you get a job like that?

  • Cool Job..

  • Nice vid. THIS is the kind of stuff I want to see on the Wii.

  • wow good catch!! :)

  • Nice recovery! I like how your mount stays behind after the spill looking like, "Watcha doin down there?" while the runaway is like, "Deuces!" lol XD

  • ALSO... may I make a good natured Canadian joke here? None of the Americans, Irish, or Brits I have known at the track would have said "that smarted!" LOL

  • I watched this twice and the second time I still said "ouch!" It really was nice work... Glad you're ok!

  • Your horse is absolutely BRILLIANT! Very well trained and you can tell it would do anything it could for you.

  • reminds me of assassins creed.

  • friken hel :O well done that was amazing, you got straight back up after that fall which looked like it hurt alot :L hope your okayy.. and this proves horses likes to run :L cos it was running without the aid of a riderr

  • haha you are badass! I ride horses (hunter/jumpg beginner lessons) but I have never tried horse racing. Any idea how can I get started? I'm in my late 20s, am I too old to learn horse racing?

  • @VelmaSabina Really depends on where you live. Almost everyone I know who ends up mounted works as a groom for at least a year. It varies from country to country.

  • @VelmaSabina As to your age, no you are not too old at all.

  • Wow, great job getting the loose horse back! That was incredable, especially after the fall, hope you and your horse are ok!!!

  • first person lol this is cool

  • first person horse riding

  • not gunna lie, that was the coolest thing ive ever seen.

  • i thought these guys were pros but yet they can't go a minutes without someone falling

  • @jumbo508 - That's why we wear helmets : )

  • must have been a bit scary. you are amazing...hope your horse's leg is ok, and you with all your injuries. Your wife is a great rider too.

  • Hah, that was a sick video. Nice job! =)

  • How did you accquire that job?

  • @EMSWolf911 - I started galloping horses at the age of sixteen during school vacations. Once I was out of school I galloped full time for ten years. To be an outrider you have to not only be an expert rider (not self proclaimed) but also be able to read the body language of other horses and riders at a distance. This ability is usually only developed after a number of years in a saddle at a racetrack.

  • What a great horse you have there. I hope you're both o.k. now.

  • This is a great video... Where is this made? Utah?

  • @amurphy18

    B.C. Canada.

I did however marry a girl from Utah who is a better rider than myself.

  • @fukushin She isn't MORMON by any chance is she.

  • @DirtyD777 - No, I'm allowed tea : )

  • Nice work! Your pony seems real honest & hard working, hope he made a full & speedy recovery.

  • What a trooper. Hats off to you, sir.

  • gotta say one hell of a good catch first off! second off, accidents happen! glad you're okay and i'm so glad you worried more about your horse than anything. Way to get back on and continue your job! we need more dedicated people like you as riders! no pain, no game!

  • @MrProfessorWyatt This horse escaped. My job is to catch them and return them so that they can participate in the race.

  • I felt that!

  • you were right on it nice initial catch without the fall maybe no late scratch. Nice job stickin with it and making the final catch just missing the pony girl

  • This happened three weeks before the end of our season. My wife and I had made twelve post parade catches none of which were scratched. That day ruined what would have been a perfect meet for us.

  • wow you have some job

    stay safe

  • Amazing. You deserve a medal .... I posted this on Facebook and made sure everyone noticed that you walked your horse back to the barn with broken ribs, concussion and dislocated finger before ever thinking about taking care of yourself!!

    GOOD MAN!

    Phenomenal rider!!

    I'm really glad you're okay.

  • Outriders go with the gate crew on the list of 'underappreciated people with dangerous jobs."

  • Wow! So glad you both were mostly unhurt. That was scary to watch.

  • Im Fine......Liar

  • It should be noted I consider this a FAIL.
