  • For someone with longer hair, try sleeping in a "loc sock" made of satin - the elastic around your head is not tight, and there is plenty of room for the hair to move.

  • How many did you use?

  • Your hair looks ahh-mazing!!! Question: Do you use the Aloe Vera Gel and the Motions Foaming Wrap Lotion together? Or is it a either or thing?

  • This is a very informative vid. Thank You! I did laugh when you reached your arm out to show how to "sleep cute". lol :-) I simply pineapple my hair at night when I use curlformers and it works well the next day.

  • My hair is naturally curly all ready! I was wondering will these CF be a waste of time?

  • Hi! Great vid! You made a comment that caught my attention. One of the tips to a great CF set was to avoid products you know don't work for you. Problem is I can't find a list or chart for alternatives! I see tons of reviews for products used in creating specific styles but no alternatives if the product doesn't work on my hair. (Mega thick, Mega curly) Any assistance is greatly appreciated! Thx in advance!

  • @FeistyKoos oh ok thank u.

  • Love ur vids, and your curl rod vid! I subbed! Check out my vids ;-)

  • @one2trynewthings Thanks for the sub ^__^

  • Thanks for the tips! I just subscribed to you. :-) I hope to buy curlformers one day. This is the first video I have watched of yours. I believe you are natural correct? Did you blow dry and flat iron your hair before putting in the curlformers? Your hair look so nice and silky so I'm curious.

  • @mcgeechevelle You're welcome! Thanks for the sub ^__^ I am natural, and I don't blow dry or straighten before using the Curlfomers.

  • @mcgeechevelle on ebay order the magic leverag they r the exact same product for much less just the dominican version for a lot cheaper!!!

  • Thank you for the tips. I have been looking at every video possible on curlformers and I am definitely going to buy them... Lol next paycheck. But a few of the videos said that their set only lasted them a few days because some of the curlformers would break. Have you had any break? And what can you do to prevent that?

  • @Smiles23341 Hmmm, not sure what they mean by that. I've never had the Curlformers break.

  • Ya the setting lotion itched. But I did have great results with smaller sections and pudding...but I'm gonna have to buy more of them. Then my curls will be awesome...like yours.

  • Thanks.

  • Hello.

    Your curls are amazingly lovely.

May I know wat hair type u've got?

TO my questions, I just purchased 2 packets of long and narrow, and 1 packet of long and wide, which means I have 24 curlformers. My hair isn't thick, and is about 6-7inches long.

    -Do I need more?

    - If y, what type shld I buy?

    - Are the long ones ok for my 4b curls, or do I need shorter ones?

    - Do you mean this- wash and condition my hair; apply leave in and braid my hair for it to airdry; use aloevera to set it, wen dry?

  • @Thejuleze I don't use hair typing...I'm a 4 something (that's the best I can do). I usually use between 40 and 60 Curlformers in my hair at any time, depending on the style I'm going for. I use more rollers if I want more definition and fewer rollers if I don't want so much definition. If you want larger curls, by the wide Curlformers. If you want narrower curls, buy the narrow Curlformers--it depends on what you want your hair to look like. The long ones should be fine.

  • @Thejuleze And yes, set your hair when damp/dry. Thanks or the questions!

  • @FeistyKoos Thanks for being so nice.

60!!! That's a lot. Guess you must have full, thick hair.

  • how many packs did u use bc I have 3 and I know that's not enough... I need 2 know how many more packs 2 buy... Thanks n advance

  • No conditioner...haha ok...I know what I did wrong now. What about a "conditioning setting lotion" gonna try that!

  • @peepla7 LOL that may be better, but still be cautious. Don't use too much!

  • pin curling makes them last forever

  • @tweetyblue704 I've never tried that. Thanks for the tip!

  • @tweetyblue704 Thanks! I never even thought to pin curl them!

  • good tips

  • Thanks for the tips! My curlformers have been sitting in my house for a year b/c I didn't know how to maintain the style. Also needed the tips you gave on products. Great video, thanks so much!!

  • My husband thought I was crazy with my "strategic hair sleeping" to keep my curls. Yes! I have to concentrate in my sleep to not crush my curls. Thanks for the validation.

  • thank you for this!

  • Thanks so much for your tips. I've been wanting to try curlformers and hopefully with your pointers it will turn out as great as yours! BTW, how many curlformers did you use? I need an idea of how many to buy. Thanks again.

  • thanks for the tips feisty!

  • I absolutely love your videos and will be purchasing the Curlformers soon! Can you please tell me what's the difference between the pink/orange & the blue/green? My hair is a little shorter than yours and I'm not sure which colors to purchase. Your hair had beautiful results with both btw.

  • @babyuv3 Thanks for watching! The pink/orange is a wider curl, and the blue/green is a more narrow curl. Hope that helped!

  • @FeistyKoos I found that the wider the former n shorter the hair, the lesser the chance of good set. It would be like using a really large roller on short hair; you will still get a curl but it may not last as long and the root may not be smooth even if u make a small section 2 roll. The hair will still be spread out to much in the curlformer preventing a good set. Also, depending on the thickness of your hair n hair type, you may get a better result using a hooded dryer. I hope this helps.

  • Thanks! I added this to my favorites.

  • @CetteBelleChevelure Thank you! *blushes*

  • Love this video! I had this exact problem, I just bought the curlformer styling kit and my set lasted only 2 days. I will definately be taking your tip about the leave in, I ddnt know that. So after ur hair dries do u put on the wrap lotion lotion first, then the aloe vera gel??

  • @stlstrueyekon It seems to be a common problem! After my hair dries, I use either the wrap lotion or the aloe vera gel. I usually use wrap lotion in the winter and aloe vera gel in the summer. Hope that helped!

  • @FeistyKoos Yep that helps alot, beacuse I have both those products but Ive never used them for that purpose, but I will definately try it, thnx alot for responding =)
