I definitely don't raise them.... squirrels have happened to me by ACCIDENT. people find orphans and say " who's STUPID enough to devote endless hours caring for a destructive indigenous rodent"... and then they knock on my door and I just about cry that they've found me again! ( Zeke was 1 day old and a bit chilled when we met... I was only going to keep him/ care for him until he died... that was 3 1/2 years ago... so far : )

OMG...that's so cute...I love squirrels, I'd love to touch one, they must be so soft. They bite though.

you don't know the HALF of it :) lol :) he is the SOFTEST, especially his tummy, but at the moment he needs his nails trimmed and I look like a VICTIM, just from our playtime :)... he was the squirrel who took the longest to learn the appropriate "bite pressure" for play, every other squirrel just "knew" it... he had to have a few incorrect tries ( ouch) before I'd play ( fight) nice with him as a tiny baby :)
