  • To this day, a part of my heart is still in love with Micky Dolenz. That same part, along with the rest of my heart, is completely crushed by the passing of Davy Jones. Good night, sweet Daydream Believer.

  • rip davy jones <3

  • classic.....R.I.P Davy Jones

  • Great song. Great video. 'nuff said.

  • Did Nesmith write this? Sounds like something he would write.

  • @RandomPlayIist yea Mike wrote this one

  • The Monkees + HD = EPIC!

  • Kind of like Mickey just messing around with a Moog saying "look what sounds I can make"! Another great Nesmith tune, tho ...

  • love the moog, but alas there is a droning Hammond at the very beginning and throughout the whole song.

  • Micky is so hot in this!

  • OMG>> Mike's head moves slightly at 0:30! LOL

    I love this song!

  • @NonaSuymo13 hahah yes

  • Pete's reminding us not to take it tooseriously....

  • This is a amazing song! The Moog is just the perfect!!!

  • Was this for their TV show?

  • what s wrong with violine!? if this is violine at the begining..??? i LIKE the song, but. that violine.. made my ears almost..

  • psychedelic! all that's missing is vito & his freaks.

  • extremely cool psychedelia & always has been one of my favorite Monkees tracks -"wrapping arms around the unsuspecting city"-yeah,baby.......

  • Don't forget the famous traveling Moog owned by Paul Beaver, which appeared on many recordings dating back to around 1966, such as on albums by The Turtles (Elenore and You Showed Me) and The Doors (Waiting For The Sun). The Moog would make MANY appearances on some big hits such as The Boxer by Simon and Garfunkel and was also popular with The Beatles and The Moody Blues and later, Led Zeppelin. How could bands ignore the potential of the Moog? Lest we forget Emerson, Lake and Palmer? No way!

  • @jazzliscious13 OOPS, I should have said "singles" by The Turtles. Sorry!

  • Micky Dolenz was the 3rd person to own/buy a Moog modular, behind Wendy Carlos and Buck Owens. He later sold it to Bobby Sherman. Got to love the Moog.

  • its sounds more actual than ever

  • Wow one of the earliest Moog modulars, love the trippy sounds!

  • Look at that Moog! HUGE!!!

  • One of the coolest tracks they ever did.

  • Dr Robert Moog helped change music's path......Born May 23, 1934 – Died August 21, 2005

  • YES I LOVE THE PSYCHEDELIC!

  • The first pop song to use a Moog synthesizer, ever! Classic!
