I agree with Aztec . . . I've heard this performed several times by the Australian Chamber Orchestra and others, and a slower performance is more dramatic.
Nevertheless . . . a great version, with an interesting clip to boot!

What an amazing video, Copland was truly the greatest American composer and the combiniation of that and these images, truly spectacular.

Aaron Copeland is one of the most visual composers of all time. If you close your eyes you can see the images he created with his music.

I like this song a lot. But I think even with how well this trumpet player sounds, I think it is quite a bit faster than it should be.
