This song is so funny and I can't help but laugh at it. Tigers are such magnificent animals it's a shame that the mad scientists are mixing them with lions to make these ligers. I wonder how the tigers feel about it?

It's interesting this one was reran well into the 1990's and David was singing it, and was gone from the show by then. Back then there was basically no such thing as "outdated" Sesame Street was just one big happy show.

It's true---they used to be a LOT more lax about showing material that was way out of date. Even as late as 1997, I remember occaionally tuning in and seeing things like "Me Lost Me Cookie at the Disco." I mean, showing disco in 1997? It doesn't get much more dated than that! XD

They were also still showing a few Bert & Ernie and Kermit clips from year one, even though the characters clearly looked different.

It's changed a lot in 10 years. Now, they're much pickier about stuff being dated.

How do they keep the tiger's attention? With cats that can be hard. I cant get my cats to look at me all the time. They keep walking away like cats do sometimes. Also its may not be food. Tigers usealy dont attack If you are lookng at them. But nice song.
