Anyone not reading the text of the Employee Free Choice Act and then posting that it takes away secret ballot is just a plain old idiot.
The act would not take away secret ballot elections.
Do a little reading before believing a paid republican poster like CIDaily posts lies.
Obviously he wants your employer to be able to cut your wages for no reason.

This ad is a lie...the Employee Free Choice Act is just a scam that removed the ability of workers to have a secret vote if they want to join the union. Now, unions will be able to publicly pressure people to join.

konagnu - the employee free choice act just gives the employees the choice to have either a majority signup OR a secret ballot. if the employees want secret ballot election, then it is there, of course. Hence the word 'choice' in the act name. It would not eliminate secret ballot elections at all. Good and valid question!

It would for the members who did not vote for a secret ballot. Don't tell me unions don't try to pull tricks...just look at all the small print they use. They unions are nothing more than liberal political activists.
