I got 46 just now!!!!!! and my platinum this guy provided good tips. you need to have above 17 before the plane crashes. I had 18. Also shoot in front like this guy said, that was what I wasnt doing until now. I got a lot more planes down...

I know to shoot in their path but the guns are just too inaccurate. I only got 30 or something. Worst part is that there is no "reload checkpoint" and you cannot commit suicide in this one. So it forces you to replay the whole damn mission. I am not sure whether it is worth that much time...

I just got this trophy. I just made sure I had 20 downed during the first skrimish then when I touched down i ignored all survivors and only shot at the PT boats and the pairs of zeros that flew at me. I counted 52 zeros downed:D

Now just some hints: Change the sensibility to HIGH(custom .4) Get before the first checkpoint at least 15/16 (If you don't, press start and choose save and quit) Use the rockets too! Just press RT and RB/ R1 and R2 Do it on recruit! Or on hardened. Don't give up! Try, try and TRY! Until u get it! I'm so happy with this. However i win on the 34 attempt so just try it! GOOD LUCK! :D

i gotta good tip: if u dont get at least 15 by the first check point, shoot the other plane beside u so it will say ''friendly fire will not be tolerated'' and u can just restart the checkpoint insted of the whole mission........

use save & quit to restart (be at time otherwise you need to restart the whole level and if you don't you won't get 45 at the end)

- minimum 15 planes before first checkpoint (many got 17, 18, 19 or even 20

- minimum 25 at the second

use R1 and R2 on PS3 or RT and RB on xbox 360 the same time.

- Put brightness to the max

- put aim to low in the options,

- shoot in front of the planes

- take most easy difficulty

I got 1000 / 1000 and it sure feels good ;-)
