I love singers that can hold powerful notes without vibrato- I mean I like vibratos but not really heavy ones- they seem off tune to me. JOJ is one of those, but he has an awesome vibrato also so yea :)

Lovely performance from the only Valjean that comes close to Colm Wikinson. JOJ is, from a tecnical perspective, a better singer than Wilkinson. However, while JOJ sings and performs beautifully, he is playing Valjean while Wilkinson IS Valjean.

He doesn't have the vocal ability of Colm. He is too breathy which takes away the intensity of the song. Also he is a bit too theatrical in his performance making the singing stilted and uneasy, not pleading enough - in other words, his singing is not believable.
