But Steve takes a very cheap guitar, and he would sound truly better than you with the most expensive guitar....See the point ?

I really dont care if a guitar player uses an expensive guitar ibanez or fender all I care is how it plays a certain song. The real talent of a musician doenst lie on the instruments it use but on the skill it poses.

The 7v has a better trem and a thinner neck and the sound ist way better

No, both 7V and 555 have the SAME neck. The major difference is the tremolo. Also, the 7V body is alder (555 is american basswood) and the 7V is Japanese (555 is Korean).

Steve Vai himself used a 555 neck on his FLO guitar for some time, you can identify it in some pics because of the fretboard inlay.

i got both and they look just the same.white pearloid on both.black speed knobs,all black hardware.and to tell you the truth the rg350 plays the same.i set them up to how i like them both and they are the same.go with the 350 unless you got five hundred to spend on a monkey grip

I have the jem77V BK (the more expensive one) and that one's so fucking great. I also played this guitar in the vid, but in my opinion you'd better buy an rg prestige instead of the cheap jem (better sound and the better tremolo).

The jem 555 is basically the same as the jem 7v wh (the most expensive one). Theres basically no difference in sound.

It 'looks' better so they made it more expensive. Waste of money really.

If you get a good amp, it doesnt matter what guitar you have, a good digi amp can make any guitar sound.

I know this because, um, well, i have one.

Well, I played both guitars, and in my opinion the 555 is a very good guitar, souns great, but the more expensive one has a much better sound for my ears, an the tremolo is way better
