The thing that makes 9mm attractive is that for conceal carry pistols, you will find small, light handguns that carries alot of firepower.

Add choice of round (Jacketed hollow points) and it makes the .45acp not to be desired. What would you rather have?

A glock 17 with a 17 rnd mag or a 1911 with 7 45acp? In my opinion it all comes down to shot placement. But it doesn't hurt to have more bullets in your gun.

SMGs are useless. You want to clear a house, take a shotgun.

Man you are an expert, dude shotguns are useful in CQB however SMG's have prooved to be a very effective tool for clearing houses and buildings in an urban setting. By the way I'm not talking about the MAC-10 it's a piece of shit but rather about the 10mm MP5, while a shotgun's effective range is 60-80 yards, the MP5/10 would be useful beyond that. In an urban setting I would personally take an MP5/10 any day, more rounds, better accuracy and range as well as more compact. The MAC 10 is a joke!

I think the MAC 10 dates all the way back to the 70's. The idea is to spray it. But lets say for a hostage situation where you needed to breech into a room, a shotgun wouldn't work at that point. MP5's are great because they were made in mind with the intention that you needed precision shots.

Meaning, dont kill the hostage. You cant compare a MAC 10 with an MP5. MAC 10 and MAC 11 have too much climb, so its shit in the accuracy department.

They're collectors items, purely fun to take out for a spin. It also depends on the load you utilize. For instance a 9mm +p+ load can produce the same muzzle energy as a 45 can.

A burst from standard 9mm to your chest would deliver roughly the same energy as an m16 discharged point blank range into your chest, but the 9mm will deliver the energy better.

Because 9mm is cheaper and the recoil is more managable. plus, it's not as likely to kill a suspect that they want to incapacitate but not kill. You can carry more 9mm than .45. also consider that many military organizations reject things that could possibly be better (e.g. dragon skin body armor) because they think it's cheaper. there's plenty of soldiers and marines who consider 9mm pistols to be lacking in power.

.45 ACP is faster about 100-200 fps faster. The mass of the bullet and the velocity of it dictate recoil (momentum). Since a .45 has a higher mass and velocity, the gun will have more recoil (the weight of the gun has to be factored in also, if the gun is heavier then the less recoil.

Good, at least there is one video out there showing why you should never hold this gun like a "gansta." You hold that weapon rotated 90 degrees medially and fire at full-auto... You will actually hurt yourself more than the intended target. Also, driving at the same time as going full auto... You might as well ram your car into a building. Firing a firearm requires extensive safety training as well as proper handling instructions. A good part of firearm related deaths are actually accidents.

Go to a Class3 Dealer, pay about $3000 for the gun, get the paperwork signed by your sheriff, get fingerprinted, get two photos, send paperwork along with $200 to the ATF and wait for the paper work to come back. Its actually not hard at all unless your sheriff is a dick. Then you just form an LLC or a Trust and bypass the sheriff, photos, fingerprints, and background check all together.
