Yes, they do sound good together...the Milnes/Giacomini version is better, but Giacomini overshadows Milnes a bit too much. Domingo and Milnes blend very well.

They are not just brilliant singers but also a brilliant pair. They sound really good together (like, for example, Carreras is best with Cappuccilli, Corelli with Bastianini, Björling with Warren).

Possibly one.. duhhh, that doesn't make sense. this performance has balls, just like the Caruso Ruffo version. too bad Ruffo didn't go for the A. Jussi and Merrill also do a good job but the voices are lighter.

my favorite concert... ever! They did duets from pearl fishers, boheme, gioconda, lots from Forza (almost the whole second half), the Otello duet. If memory serves, there was an Andrea Chenier excerpt (Domingo) that was awesome. Still terrific after all the years. Thanks!!!!!!!!
