  • I'm pretty sure you lost this knife. Take better care of your stuff.

  • @RochesterSportRifles In other words, you've got it at your house?

  • @Djemps NOPE. Wish i did.

  • @RochesterSportRifles Actually, it's been in the buffet drawer in the dining room this whole time. We just to need to make some wooden scales for it.

  • Excellent mod!

  • @THA7MANJB Thank you. Now that the college semester is over, I hope to modify a few more peasant blades. Maybe I'll have some more videos up soon.

  • bitchin, it works

  • @FatGuyWithAKatana Hehe. I just had a party this weekend and opened tons of bottles with this thing. :-)

  • Pink? Why did they go with pink? What did I ever do to them? Thanks for the demonstration.

  • @colddrake80 ... well... You aren't going to lose a pink knife anytime soon. Or would you deliberately lose it to get rid of it?

  • @Djemps That is a point on both counts. I have seen them available with wooden scales and I think that would be better. At least for my taste. Do you know much about the history of the design it seems like it could be very old indeed. I haven't found much in my preliminary searches.

  • @colddrake80 My first peasant knife has wooden scales (which I love). I purchased more to try different modifications. I know that this is at least a 300 year old design, but friction folders were used all through the middle ages. There are even folders from ancient Rome.
