When I watched 'The Gospel of John" I had a hard time keeping my thoughst on Jesus because the actor that plays Him in this is in a show on tv I watch..

But the editing and song in this kept my thoughts on Him the entire time.

Lovely tune. Very compelling. But the lyrics are the focus of a Calvinist: as if there's nothing we can do and Jesus does everything FOR us. That is a flat out lie. Jesus said "except YOU repent you will perish". The song says "not because of what I've done, but because of who You are". If God is no respecter of persons, and we can't DO anything to please God, as Calvinists insist, then everyone would be saved, since scripture says He isn't willing that ANY should perish. But all must repent!
