Nice find for sure! Looks absolutely pristine and with the book should have gone for 150 dollars+. I had to buy the Lunar 2 one twice because first time it was missing the pendant.
Only finished Lunar 1, havent gotten around to Lunar 2 yet.
I loved Lunar 1 for sure, the Working Designs boxset are sitting proudly on my shelf for sure!
I've done what you did in this video before... But witha diff copy of Lunar.. the first one. I found a pristine one at a local, and i was like "I dont wanna open it and play it.. I need to go find a used open non boxed copy" LOL. So I did.
If the game is crisp like that i defo won't open it.
Yeah I had something similar happen to me recently. Bought a complete copy of Dracula X for the PC Engine that the seller said she had bought new and played once. Didn't really believe that but the price was good, and when I got it I could tell she was telling the truth. Absolutely perfect, practically brand new. Too scared to play it, or even open it, so it's tucked away and I just bought a beat-up copy to play daily rather than gumming up the minty copy. It's a collector's scourge!
I'm always careful with certain games. I used to play a burnt copy of Radiant Silvergun to save opening up my copy. Other than that I can't think of any.
I do similar, for Games that cost me near 100usd, like Dracula X.
I still need to get a copy of Radiant Silvergun, and one of those nifty Radiant Silvergun T-shirts I've seen coming out of the UK. I believe it is the all time best titled game.
@16bitghost It gets alot of stick with the elitist shmup fans. i don't know why though. It's a fine game both as a game and as a shooter. Tough as nails but beautiful and a great soundtrack to boot. I paid around 90GBP a few yrs back and have seen it listed for nearly double that now. Well worth picking up both for playing and as a collection piece. Look to get it with spine card if you do.
I have a few things I like to be extra careful with, like my Batman Beyond DVD's. I like everything to be in pristine brand new condition, from my house to my car. I think it's awesome you found that. The only thing I like more than a pristine item is a really old pristine item.
@16bitghost I do not own a copy of this game, but I have played it.

I would open it, very carefully, just to make sure it is complete. Excellent find! I have been looking into getting myself a complete copy.

I have the first lunar on ps1 and the packaging is beautiful.
Its good that some people look after and preserve games because its up to us to pass them on to the next generation.

Worth $80 CIB, nice man. That book is most likely worth upwards of $100, considering how nice it is.
