@fastmant America does what it has to do in order to protect its people. Throwing a nuclear bomb on Japan was retaliation after they dropped a bomb on US. Ever heard of pearl harbor? Probably not. And for your information people we killed in Iraq were again people who were threatening the well being and security of the U.S. and its people. As far as I can see all you want to do is paint America as the bad guy. Every country has its fair share of corrupt people but we're not the bad guys.

@gmjssc There are always casualties in war. I'm sure they must have lost innocent victims just as we lost innocent victums. I'm not saying that America is completely right in everything it does nomatter what. Its not that black and white. I know that. Like I said EVERY country has its fair share of corrupt people but in this case America isnt the total bad guy. Going to war with Iraq was what was right for the country at that time and its people.

There are reasons why they happen like lying Socialist dictators stealing food from Iraqi Shiites to build himself statues and making himself so hated that some of his torture and poison gas victims chose to pass exaggerated claims about his nuclear weapons plans to get rid of him with American help and lift the trade embargo he was violating buying North Korean missiles to attack and murder other people's countries with.

Best film I have ever seen.
Such a great scene, how USA can unite to fight the asteriod, how we as a country can save the world. Makes me proud to be an American.
This film should have won more awards, and we should not take for granted the men working on the oil rigs GETTING US FUEL !!! They risk their lives daily just so we can power things

Oh my God, such a crappy scene.
Tons of religious references, moronic clichés on France (yoohoo, the Mont-Saint-Michel, and the guy listening on a 1940's transistor), Italy, India (yeah, as if Indians actually pray in front of the Taj Mahal, the things a tomb, not a temple), the rockets named "Liberty" and "Independence" (Lawl).
Still a great film, though, one the best "So-bad-they're-good" types.

@horikitamakia we may be on the verge of the end of the earth but...just like in this movie is it possible to reverse it... many natural disasterss happen yes tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions are all natural they're going to happen an increase in the happenings is apparent but this means nothing. it may be just a cycle in earths time of the reverse in which the plates are shifting the other direction

This was the most stupid fucking movie... i cant believe there were dumbasses in the audience that actualy cried in some parts... I hate flash, slick films like this with the hyper shots, angle, slow motion and weak, 2 dimensional characters and horrible writing that they try to shove down your throat... what an embarrassment this film was for the film makers... and for that that like it, they are just low IQ, totally dumbass morons who will never make any money and get next to no sex in life.
