Yes he is CaneCorso , Echo has excellent toy and food drive, awesome gripps along with solid nerves, which makes him easy to train... just as easy as any of the "traditional" breeds ( as you said). Unfortunately not too many of them have that type of drive and soundness, but they are out there : ) I have seen more Presas than Cane Corsos with this type of drive

Thanks for the reply Ivan, this is what I was suspecting too, but I wasn't really sure what to think about the corso's.
Apparently the working line selection is crucial just like with other breeds if not even more so.

thx Steve, he had some problems lately with his back end , had to take him to the vet to check out ... hope he's ok
you could see he is somewhat irritaded when he has to sit and lunge for the toy, normally he flies to it : (
