  • I can almost guarantee you this is how the concept of "God" was born. Honestly, it looks like an eye peering down at the Earth. You can't tell me there was at least one primitive culture that didn't think this was some sort of God.

  • But people aren't gonna be yelling with joy and excitement when all you atheist/ disbelieving people see the end of the world. Then you'll find out all your partying and deeds are brought to naught because you disbelieved in your Lord. Say All Glory be to Allah! the Lord of all that exists, there is none co-equal or comparable unto Allah and unto Allah is our return.

  • It is Morning...it only became as dark as the night because the sun was blocked by the moon in other words..the moon is bet. the sun and the earth..

  • whats the diff between lunar eclipse and solar eclipse? and the sky is so dark look as if its at nite? and y is the sun there at nite?

a lunar eclipse is when earths shadow covers the moon

  • The Moon is about 31 1/2 Earths away, Yet the Sun is more than 93,000,000 miles away. They still balance out almost exactly in how they are seen from Earth.

  • realy the moon is tht close?

  • there is no end of the world- nothing ends, everything is eternal. Things change and are re-born, though. Just like energy cannot be destroyed, it can only transform in different shapes.

  • if u look close it looks like a ring

  • That's AWESOME!!!!!!

  • so when its total, does it say there for a few minutes and then moves? or does it keep moving?

  • It keeps moving, but at a very slow speed

  • wow, its like mother nature at her best

  • i live i the bahmas i saw one daytime and at night

  • i like the one on 2:30. that's a nice blue.

  • those people who hoolar and shout when totality happens should be banned!!! it should be a moment of silence not a chance for dozy chavs to make themselfs heard

  • If you had been there, you would have understood why we cried and shouted :) That was sooo stunning.

  • When I was there back in 2006 a cryed a little bit, you just dont see and feel the amazing thing about it on video.

  • still hurts my eyes a bit. lol

    good shots though :)

I live east coast U.S. so yeah lol

  • Wow

  • 1:02 looks very nice ,kwl and awesome!

  • sweet i missed it even on tv i love to watch these thing its kool

  • during the total part of the eclipse it's ok to look (since the sun is blocked), but before and after you can look safely through a filter (or welder's glass).

  • I sure hope no one was looking straight at this.Very dangerous

You hold a special glass infront of your eyes apparently

  • this can really hurt your eyes

  • this can really hurt your eyes

  • very cool. thanx for sharing with us

  • I wonder what the horizon looks like...must be nice.

  • the horizon is almost as remarkable as the eclipse itself. it looks like a perfect sunset around you 360 degrees. we actually have our polluted atmosphere to thank for this phenomena since it reflects more light than if it were clear.

  • ha ha ha ha

what a bunch of sun nerds!

    xD

  • the sun

  • It is safe to look up, when the solar eclipse i total, because it is during this time, that the infrared beam is blocked.

It is ONLY WHEN THE MOON MOVES IN AND AWAY, and the sun is beginning to glow again, that the infrared beam is attacking the eyes, and therefore it is during this time you have to wear protected glasses.

Total eclipse = SAFE, infrared beam is blocked from the moon

MOON'S STILL MOVING IN FRONT / AWAY = NOT SAVE infrared beam attacking the eyes therefore glasses needed

  • i recommend searching the internet yourself for the safety of viewing an eclipse during totality. if i'm right, we can both agree that you should not be allowed to post anything on the internet ever again. peace.

  • If I were to wear sunglasses could I stare at it all I want and not go blind even if I accidently stare at the sun after it's over.

  • during the total eclipse (while it looks like a ring), you can stare all you want without sunglasses or anything. it's perfectly safe. after the moon moves out of the center, you'll want protection or limit how long you look cause that's no different than staring at it on a summer day.

  • awesome

  • is it seriously that dark???

  • yup

  • you obviously have never seen a solar eclipse. that is exactly what they look like no tricks whatsoever.

  • no hes right it is fake

  • its kinda like god, looking out of the sky.

  • it was interesting a solar eclipse can blind you.you know
