Sam Adams makes a g0od Oktoberfest. If you want something more authentically German, try Paulaner Oktoberfest Marzen. I think Optimator might also make an Oktoberfest. Really though, I prefer oatmeal stouts (such as Young's, Sam Smith's, and New Holland's "The Poet") and cream stouts (such as Bell's Special Double Cream Stout). Sam Adams makes a very g0od cream stout.
Out of this world!!! I loved that game (it was known here as Another World). I didn´t know anything about Faxanadu or I don´t remember, (I´m so old!) but it seems like a cool adventure game and Contra and Life Force were awesome (and fucking hard too lol)
We're close to the same age. We're not "old," we're "experienced." XD The AVGN is about the same age as us and is a g0od representative of our generation. Gen-X gamers had all the best stuff to start out with, "opening the way" (vague reference to the way Breen refers to Gordon in HL2 in one of his "Breencasts") for the future (which is now the present). That is, if you think 4th dimensionally.
'Another World' was the original title of 'Out of This World'. I played it on Super NES (original was for Amiga). Also tried the Genesis version. Each version had slight differences and I had well-defined preferences. I preferred the Super NES version of Out of This World and the Genesis version of Flashback. Faxanadu was on the NES and came out in 1988. There was an issue of Nintendo Power that had a strategy article featuring Faxanadu.
Before Do0m, Flashback was my #1 source of gaming inspirado. And before that, it was Out of This World. And before that, it was Faxanadu. And before that, it was Contra and Life Force. Ah, memories.
Correct. And I to0 think it might be the longest cinema in that wonderful game. I've played at three version of Flashback back in the day -- Genesis, Sega CD, and Super NES. My fave was always the Genesis version, but I loved the soundtrack for the Sega CD version (which I think was done by the legendary Tommy Tallarico).
Nope. }:-P The Gore-fast has a stump for a left arm and a blade jammed hapHAZARDly in the right forearm and bound with wire or something to keep the forearm together. The right forearm is actually split in half with the blade inserted between the bones!

Only needed to do that up til the point that I had a fire axe since the boinkage was the important stuff.

I played both Another World and Flashback on the Sega Genesis, that was the only consoles I had. And the last console I´ve ever had.

WATCH OUT THE YT/WMG NAZIS ARE BEHIND YOU!!!
The Flashback song is the scene where Ian restores Conrad's memories. I think that's the longest animation scene in the game?

Looks like you got boinked yourself at the end there! BTW does the game ever explain why all of those things are missing their left arm?
