Mormon gospel tolerance ends when it comes to the 2ond commandment to love your brother. Truth be told, it doesn't matter if your brother is blind, crippled or crazy, you're supposed to love him.
Have to say ... as I was watching this video, I kept thinking that the two mormon guys had a gay connection .. I kept expecting them to come out to one another and tell each other that they had romantic feelings toward the other. The fact that they both attacked the gay guy at the end, doesn't even change my thoughts a bit. The most homophobic people on earth are self hating closeted gays themselves.
There's a pretty obvious line between sexual attraction/infatuation and showing pure love to your fellow man. Mormons are taught to treat everyone as brothers and sisters, since according to their doctrine, everyone is brother or sister in spirit.
I couldn't help but note a continuity error in your film. While Daniel is talking to Adam, you can vaguely see Nolan by the lockers. But when Michael charges at Adam, the boy in the blue shirt is by the locker, while Nolan is talking to a group of friends (one of whom is the young man, previously talking to Adam, who had walked of in a different direction. Is the school perhaps in a circle?) Now I know that no one will notice it, but when an imdb page of this film is made, this will appear.
No, everyone, this is not how Mormons treat gay people. Mormons are pretty swell people. This is more about hypocrisy in general and we just chose Mormonism as our example because, well, most of us are. And I think it's pretty obvious we were going over the top at any rate.
At first I was thinking that this isn't how mormons are at all. But at the end it started looking more mormon. It worried me that he was going to expect that catholic. But once they found out he was A gay to, I knew that they would all do the right thing.

OMG I loved this video. As a gay atheist from Provo, this was about as awesome as it gets. The comedy is almost overwhelming.

The truthfulness of morminism is unassailable (as long as you don't challenge it).

I just worry that for most people unfamiliar to the LDS faith, the ending might be taken too seriously. But other than that, great work!
I go to Timpview. Too bad they couldn't let you use the interior...I would've loved to see you guys at school.

Dude,
the actor who played the part as the gay catholic, was my Friend Mark, and he's married to someone of the opposite sex, and is a mormon himself.
It's a joke. relax man :)
