Caj, Its so obvious your love for this knife and it comes though so loud and clear. It makes the viewer want it, because if a man I respect has such feelings, it's gotta be better'n good! I picked one up because of you and I thank you for the inspiration to pull that trigger on that purchase.
You sir are a master of description I swear you should be on commercials soon after I seen this video I purchased my first CRK Lrg Sebenza w/ tanto blade . Blaze if you ever come to the northwest we need to do some shooting/BBQ action .Thanks for the great video
These blades are beautiful, but they're made to be used. It isn't until you use one for a while and let it get a bit beat up that you can really appreciate it's true beauty; the strength of it's design and material, and the smoothness of it's action only ripen with useful time in hand.
I love the large regular, too bad it's discontinued. I have one with a Spirograph Damascus Blade and a Unique Graphic Handle- one of my favorite knives.
Well said my friend, I can relate to your story. I used to be a Benchmade guy but haven't carried anything but a CRK for years now. My EDC rotation goes between a small 21 Insingo ( insane-o ) and a Tanto Umnumzaan. I just wish that they'd make a small Tanto Umnumzaan, that'd be sweet. Take care Bro.
Hey Cajun, been a while since I commented so figure I'd do that! You hear a lot of good stuff about most of the CRKs. The Sebenza models are his de facto quintessential folders, and they are extremely classy IMO. I would definitely appreciate feeling one in hand. It wasn't like that before, but you can just tell these things sometimes.
I love it when you do a video on your sebenzas. I already have the small micarta sebenza, now im ordering the large this monday. I love CRK's. Thanks for the video!
I know I slam CRKs but god, I would really love to at least hold one once and see what the rave's all about.
Great vid and cool knife, Homie G. I'm glad to see a CR that's actually beat on. Makes me feel good that at least someone knows that a knife is meant to be used and not placed on a shelf to stare at.
I tell ya Caj, after seeing videos and videos on these, I just had to experience the knife first hand. You really cant tell until something is in the hand and manipulated and the eye flows over the object, in this case, the Sebenza and only when it is in your hand can you see how well made and perfect it is. Made in America too. I went and got myself a Unumzaan first at the recommendation of someone and loved it. Then I got the Sebenza and love that too. I got both used, and prefer it.
You are right, i would be scared as hell to touch this knife BUT on the other hand for anyone that worked their butt off to buy a blade like this why should they not carry it or use it?? I do now own a Chris Reeve knife yet but i do want to get the small one, but gotta take a while becuase its 4x more expensive in Poland..... ;/. But perhaps someday i'll experiance it and see why everyone loves it so much :)!!!! Great video Blaze!!!!
I like that worn look on a knife. Especially on a titanium and steel knife like yours. Its a patina that adds character to the knife. Like nutnfancy says its the Bobafett worn look. Keep holding, using, and enjoying that knife!!!
here's how i look at it. i buy a $500-$700 gun. i carry it & shoot it. so to buy a $300+ knife & not use it, unless it's a custom, i don't understand why you wouldn't want to get your money out of it. the first time i saw a CRK was on HELLZZARMY's channel he showed is Umnumzaan tanto. when he said the price i asked what made that knife so expensive. he never responded. i hope he didn't think i was being an ass. i still don't own a CRK yet, but now i do get it. next month i do plan to get 1 tho.
@INFIDELxSTRONG Great comment. I hoped this video would help people see that this knife is an investment. I understand that there are people that just will not spend the money. I was one of those guys for many years. I use this knife and it's built tough. Having said that I will not abuse the blade or do anything to try and break it. Once you feel it in the hand only then can you truly understand. Good luck with your purchase.
Great story. Only fellow collectors know the way you can bond with a knife like that. Becomes part of you. Like your first muscle car, or a favorite cue stick. I duuno. Sounds corney, but it's true.
My first "Grail" knife was a Buck 110. I was a kid (35 years ago) so $30 bucks was HUGE money back then. Wore that knife every day. Know what? It's sitting right in front of me, on the desk, right now. It doesn't get carry time any more, but it's never out of my sight.
Gotta love the Sebenza. Classy and refined. Cool story, and I've had the same experience with other knives. Bought, and returned due to instant regret. lol.
Great story bro :) The first expierience I had with a Sebenza was at a local gun shop too O_o But those blades are just too expensive fer my tastes, I can buy a bunch of Spydercos for the price of one Sebbie XD
Great story ! CRK knows how to make good knives.

I agree with your points, is this knife made to be used? Yes. Would I be afraid to use it if I had one? Yes, this knife is way too fancy for me.
