Is there any proof that the ballet is a part of a propaganda effort? If so please provide an IMPARTIAL source. If you want to protest violence that is your right but shouldn't it be in a more appropriate forum? when has ballet ever contibuted to war? The idea to just blanket protest anything Israeli makes you look foolish. Instead of protesting the ballet why not protest when the US Congress awards defense contracts?

I do agree with you that Americans shreiking and screaming at a Ballet Troupe because they're from Israel is beyond hypocritical. I'm a left-winger and an American. We need to clean up our own house before we worry about a tiny country in the mid-east. And the knee-jerk anti-Israeli anti-jew stance is troubling to me. It does smack of prejudice towards Jews as a whole under the guise of "anti-zionism". It's kept me at times from being more active in leftist politics.

great cause but such misguided efforts. always the same: "white" americans/canadians/brits etc. focused on israel while their countries destroy the middle east and bolster the israeli right wingers. most american tv/film can be seen as american propaganda (and it is) but instead of working towards change in america, israel is singled out as if it were unique in having a murderous/corrupt gov't and military. that ballet may indeed have been sponsored by the israeli gov't, but they are not...

Wow, Israeli ballet dancers are considered human rights abusers? That's pretty thin. CUSPR, there are plenty of ways to be pro-Palestinian without being anti-Israel.
