Yes. Since you're taking things into legal matters you want to give them your address, phone numbers, and personal information so that they can find you instead of just deleting your account. I'd say, use a proxy, or a VPN, and enter all fake info. Worst they can do is delete your account, not take you to jail for copyright infringement, or fine you tons of money...

@butthenIdied No, not usually. But you can be taken to court and sued by the copyright owners of the material if they so wish (the likely hood because of YouTube is probably 1000 to 1 chance, but it may happen).

@tiffanyandkacey123 No, they were flagged by Music Groups which will taken matters further and sue if you try to refute the claim ... personally not worth it, especially with WMG .. they win in the end.

If it was from another YouTube user who didn't own the copyright of the material they flagged you for copyright in the first place, go right ahead.

@taylocan19784 That is untrue. If you have been flagged and given a copyright strike, even if you delete the video, it still remains as a strike on your account. If it was, however, marked as "Matched third party content ... view copyright claim", then it won't be recorded as a strike (ads appear on the video instead).

effectable offer is these:

for example if after the upload if you track the uploaded

video in your videos part in your account.if you saw the

copyright strike warning.promptly delete the video.!!!and it

no matters and means no strike for the account..but take care

to delete the video in a short time after got the strike..

@BruneiTV just go to 'username' -> 'settings' -> 'manage acc.' (after you get there, there should be an ID of ur strike video(s). before that.. simply copy any utube url video, delete the current ID and paste YOUR ID there :)

OK so far, but the half of the tracks of the album are uploaded all over youtube and nobody got any copyright claim - and mine was just another version of the track by the SAME (!) producer.
