  • this man must hate cococoala

  • Finally, someone who knows how to use slow motion and not have the crappy death metal stuff as music in the background... I salut you sir!

  • is there anyway to put optics on this?

  • @MattTrezzi13 There is a railed feed cover available (comes standard on the PARA model) to attach optics.

  • whats the fps

  • @hsppaintballpark18 Around 400 with .2s and the M120 that I used in this video.

  • would this fit a nun-chuck battery?

  • @vivalabaker Couldn't tell you for sure since I'm not really sure of the size of them, but I would assume that it would.

  • @vivalabaker it does. but stay with the large type that he has. because for some reason im not getting consistent fire rate with mine

  • @vivalabaker and youd probably have to buy a small to large type connector for it to fit the large type connector's thingy lol

  • how charged was the battery?

  • @AirsofTakedown Probably over half charged, enough that it wouldn't make a difference.

  • wouldn't you expect it to have two big battery's instead of one i might die pretty quick though

  • dose it come with a box mag or mid cap?

  • @airsoftking19 Both, a standard A&K 2500rd box and a 64ish rd metal shelled A&K midcap magazine.

  • @FuzzyDicePimp kool thanks :)

  • @airsoftking19 it comes with a box mag go to evike and get it best deal ever

  • someone help me, a&k m249 mkll or a&k m60 navy?

  • it looks better with a box mag

  • does it have a small or large type connector

  • @Cejo871 Small Tamiya connectors

  • What motor do you have in it? Do you know if the stock motor can take a m120?

  • @airsofter4ever Well, it was actually using the stock motor AND an M120 in this video! It works just fine, but does cycle a tad slow for what I wanted out of my SAW on only a 9.6v battery.

  • With how much FPS were you filming?

  • @blackwersus2 Different rates for different parts of the video. Look at the aspect ratio of a specific clip to tell. So bars means it was a standard 30 FPS, bars on the left and right mean it was 300 FPS, bars on the top and bottom mean that it was 600 FPS.

  • A&W Root Beer was like a beer keg that gets shot in cartoons

  • wut size battery?

  • @badkarma982 This was with a 10.8v 3300 mAh battery. Thanks for watching!

  • @FuzzyDicePimp is tht with it stock?

  • @badkarma982 No, it comes with a 9.6v battery.

  • @FuzzyDicePimp yes ik tht was the gun stock running on a 10.8v as in not being upgraded

  • @badkarma982 It had an M120 in there, but that is the only non-stock part. It works on the stock spring just fine, but has some feeding problems when firing that quickly.

  • @FuzzyDicePimp oh would u reccomend this for a Saw because im thinking bout gettin one and only have around $300 bucks to spend

  • @badkarma982 It worked great as long as I had it, and I really loved the thing. However, if I were to buy a SAW with the currently available guns on the market, I think I'd go for an A&K M60, because the design has supposedly improved in their more recent models such as that one.

  • no drum mag

  • well done sir nice slow motion

  • you have the best airsoft videos i have seen anywhere on youtube :D can you do some reviews on the m9,g17,19,g26,ksusp and m1911? these are all airsoft pistols im thinking of getting. obviously im not asking you to go out and buythem just to review for me, but if you have them then would you do it please itd really help me outa i wanna get into airsoft more.

  • @cianw10 Thanks! I have demo videos similar to this one for the KWA M9 and KWA USP Match (basically the same as the USP) and while I do have a KWA Glock 18c (all of their Glocks work very similarly) it isn't working right now. So I apologize for not being able to do much to help you, but if all of the choices you're looking at are the KWA or KSC versions, then any of them would be a great pistol, especially for a starter one.

  • @Dorito2011 380 fps, i hope my information helps you.

  • @Dorito2011 I don't recall actually chronoing it with the M120 spring used for this video, but I suspect it was around 400 FPS with a .2, maybe high 300s.

  • wow nice camera :P between what BB u use? i mean how heavily? *nice vid!

  • @TheDave4321 I'm pretty sure they were .2g BBs in this video, but may have been .25s.

  • FIRST I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE IT CLEAR THAT I AM SORRY FOR THE CAPS BUT I WANT THIS TO BE SEEN. I WANT THAT EXACT GUN, WHAT I'M SAYING IS WHERE DID YOU GET IT AND FOR HOW MUCH? THAT IS THE EBST ONE I HAVE SEEN BY FAR AND I AM LOOKING TO BUY THAT GUN. PLEASE REPLY.

  • @xSWATxRiFt Capital letters do not make a comment more likely to be seen. Please refrain from using such in the future. I bought it from Evike for (if I recall correctly) $350 with the case a few years back.

  • is this china made

if so wont it break soon?

  • @alfred3299 Not necessarily. The A&K guns are made in China, but aren't that low quality either. Chances are much higher of you getting a DOA gun due to poor QC, but the build really isn't bad.

  • @FuzzyDicePimp ooh i see is the gun still working today?

The reason i won get one is cuz the gun doesnt have enough detail, all the piece are flat black without ridges or shapes

  • @alfred3299 I don't have it anymore, but it worked fine for three years up until the day I sold it. The M249 certainly does have an industrial military look to it, with nothing on there just for looks, but personally I love the way it looks just for what it is.

  • All those sodas put to waste :'(

    Great Video Though

  • @SpecialKandZebra No sodas put to waste actually, those were empty cans filled with water.

  • dude, thats a big ass speed loader!

  • just found one online sweet gonna order it

  • Where were you able to buy one of these they are out of stock in every store and website i go to? Great video though

  • @SgtLavigne Thanks! I bought it a couple of years ago, when they were available pretty much everywhere. I know there are a lot of people selling these on airsoft forums, so check those out.

  • @FuzzyDicePimp How was the hop up on your one because apparently its bad?

  • @UKairsoft94 Mine always worked quite well, but I did hear that a lot of people have had problems with their hop-ups being bad.

  • @SgtLavigne check airsplat its in stock right now

  • Cool video man, what program did you use for the slow mo?

  • @AceHintz I used Windows Movie Maker to edit this, but the slow motion effect is from the camera recording at very high frame rates, not something every camera does.

  • @FuzzyDicePimp oo gotcha... thanks for the reply

  • where do u get that speed loader and the extra clip

  • @bikerider081 I got the speedloader from Evike. This gun uses standard M4 magazines, so just buy any of those.

  • Where can you get these? I cant find any anywhere.

  • @Roflzmahwoflz These have been out of stock recently, but the Echo 1 ones (same gun, just a rebrand) are still fairly common in stores.

  • @Roflzmahwoflz higuns.com under shop by gun type and then heavy machine gun

  • good vid perfect camera viewing

  • Hey nice vid. Does this gun have hop up issues or is it ok?

  • @UKairsoft94 I have heard a few owners claim to have had issues with the stock hop-up unit, but mine has worked flawlessly and treated me great.

  • its a sin to waste root beer that way. oh and nice speed loader

  • @metshockey The cans are all empty, and filled with water. I don't know why everyone always assumes they were full, it is a much more explosive reaction if they are.

  • these are £299 in england

  • @BigidyBooh but in italy are 249€ not £

  • Out of 10, what would you give this? For me its a Dboy M16a4 or this. and is there a difference between this and the echo1? Thanks

  • @USSZim I'd give it high marks, probably an 8. The weight and bulky size are a definite hindrance (though a SAW always will be). The box magazine is the only other problem I can think of, it can be a pain and it would be a good idea to get aftermarket box mags or mod the A&K ones (or so I've heard). The Echo 1 is a rebrand of the A&K.

How mobile would you like to be, and how much fire do you plan to put down? I would recommend the M16 unless you really want to try support.

  • @FuzzyDicePimp I see. Well, I like big and heavy guns. I am not super duper mobile, but I am a big guy with a decent amount of arm strength, so I don't *think* the weight will kill me. Sounds good! I should try it out then. Did you get yours from asgi?

  • @USSZim I bought it from Evike almost three years back, but I think you can get a better deal off of ASGI because they often have those 10% off + free shipping offers.

Although it weighs a good deal, the weight is not what makes it uncomfortable to me. I find that it's too wide in front to hold comfortably, so it's the bulkiness that I have a problem with.

It's still a great gun, and I haven't heard anyone else complain about the bulky front end, so maybe that's just me.

  • @FuzzyDicePimp I see, so did you modify the box ever? I heard it only takes some duck tape

  • @USSZim No, I never actually bothered to since I don't use it much. I don't think it is a complicated mod, and I bet just a bit of duck tape would help a whole lot.

  • @FuzzyDicePimp Probably. anyway, thanks for the help, looks like the SAW it is! :D

  • GIVE THE CAN A CHANCE!!! D:

  • Does the stalk cause any problems with batteries? I heard it is too small... Also, where did you get that speed loader?

  • @USSZim The stock is fine for most batteries, most large type 9.6v batteries will fit fine. I had to modify the cell placement on my 10.8v battery to get it to fit, but it was relatively simple. It will fit any small-type batteries with plenty of room to spare. I bought that speed loader off of Evike, it's the King Arms 470 round speed loader.

  • @FuzzyDicePimp I see, that loader looks like it loads smoothly. Mine seems to jam up a lot.

  • @USSZim It does, I have never had it jam. I have a bunch of the cheap regular speed loaders, and they do tend to jam and refuse to feed often.

  • @FuzzyDicePimp Cool, imma get me one

  • DON'T WASTE ANYMORE SODAS U BIG FUCK!!!

  • @DetreProductions Haha, that is a lot of anger there, especially since I didn't waste a single soda in the making of this video. They were all empty cans filled with water. I would say thanks for the comment, but I can't say I exactly appreciate the extreme distaste you have shown towards me, not to mention the unnecessary profanity.

  • I just got this gun and I am speechless it is so accurate and fast with it just out of the box it was awsome then when I put in the upgrade(s) it was the best thank you so much.

  • @GuyGuy184 Because of the long 509mm barrel these are really accurate guns, and the rate of fire even stock is pretty killer. Glad to hear you are happy with your purchase!

  • one last thing other than lots of bb's what else would I need for this gun? What did you buy?

  • @GuyGuy184 I would recommend a smart charger to charge the battery in an all-around better way. I added an M120 spring and the 10.8v battery you see in this video, but that is it. It is a great-preforming gun out of the box.

  • alright thanks man Im probably going to buy this gun and just wanted to know a little bit about it.

  • @GuyGuy184 No problem, thanks for watching!

  • does this come with a drum mag or what and also the battery does it come with that if not what kind of battery would I need.

  • @GuyGuy184 Yes, the gun comes with the box magazine (I just wanted to use regular mags for this video) and it comes with a battery, but not the one I used in this video. The battery it comes with will work fine, it's a 9.6v.

  • i have this gun too........but my box magazine doesnt work very good.....it feeds it too low....ok...but u should use m4 out of pvc ore weit´ght metal......then it so awesome!

  • I just ordered mine, this is a sick vid tho. I love the slow motion!

  • whats the range on that thing?

    im thinking about buying one

    worth the money?

  • @timkill5 The range is great, it has a 509mm barrel and average hop-up unit, so it is very accurate to at least 120 feet. I think it's worth the money, buy it with the case, it's a great deal.

  • @eatlead123 Well it'd be a very good idea to just keep the orange tips on, for safety's sake. If really necessary, you could just use a piece of electrical tape to cover it so it won't give away your position in-game.

  • @eatlead123 Well, it's sorta a loosely covered law. (Here in MD, anyway) the law is just that the orange tip has to be used for transport, and it's definitely a good idea to have it on in any (even remotely) public place (though it really should never be in any sort of public place besides an airsoft game on a designated field.) It also needs to be present when it is sold. I don't quite have all the details straight, but if it is in private anyway, it's fine to remove the orange paint.

  • I love the sound when you pull the bolt and release it ^^ Maybe I should get this weapon, I have heard that a lot of people doesn't recommend it as a "beginners weapon" cuz of all the things that should be replaced (o-ring, spring, springguide etc).. What do you say about that?

  • @Spyflugan91 That's why I just had to do that in this video, it sounds great (better on film though.) I have heard a lot of negative things about these clone M249s, but I haven't experienced any of the problems that others always complain about (besides the sticking trigger.) It was my first real AEG, and it worked great as a starter gun for me, but it probably would be a good idea to get an ordinary gun as your first. (The things like lack of semi-auto can lead to developing some bad habits.)

  • still wroking for ya?

  • Yeah, the gun still works great.

  • Announcer- No animals or humans was injured during this video, but, a coca~cola can didn't even get drank. R.I.P Coca~Cola

  • Well, it did get drank. (...drank...drunk...?) It was just filled with water for this video.

  • Heheh, that slow shot was pretty cool.

  • ..best softair video i have ever seen!!!!5/5*

  • I'm sure you have listed this for people plenty of times, but what size and voltage battery you using? Anything else internally done to this besides the 120?

  • thats sickkkkk dude im getting the spring 1 of of hobby tron it is just like that!!!!!!!! spring is better no charge needed

  • I hear you, but the problem with spring guns is that you have to cock them before each shot.

  • Ya dude i hear u too but im getting mine for an extra 100 $ but it's gonna be awsome thanks dude.

  • why you hatin soda cans??

  • It's their fault, they are too much fun to shoot

  • its full of water so he didnt waste any

  • the slow motion with the 5 cans looked like it could be a commercial

    with the water flying out

  • im getting a m249 for my b-day here soon

  • good luck finding one, im geetting one too, it should b here monday. On evike it says its coming in march but i called the place and they have it in stock, just havent updated the website. I've been looking for an A&K M249 MKII for over a year, virtually all websites are out of stock, even the expensive SAWs. Get the one on evike.

  • I got first dibs on the new M249's in stock... been checking google every day since summer to see if i cud find one in stock.

  • wholy crap thats a nice video as specaily the slow mo

  • great vid. thx for posting.

  • Thanks for the answer. Keep the good vids coming.

  • Did you modify the stock to fit the large type or does it just fit?

  • I had to modify the 10.8v because it was too long to fit with the extra cell, but a large 9.6v should fit without a problem (though it is a very tight fit, and some batteries may be slightly larger than the ones I've tried.)

  • if the stock gets broken can u buy another one the same one

  • Yeah, you can get any aftermarket stock made for the A&K/Echo1/CA M249. Though, I'm not sure how you could break it, it is built extremely well.

  • thanks man

  • i getting one this week

  • THat's not underjoule :D

  • thats a great gun, I love what you did with the slow mo. soda cans

  • are A&K reliable?

  • I couldn't say because this is the only A&K gun I have. They are about on level with the other clone companies from what I've read.

  • nice vid

  • how many bb's can it shoot per second?

  • Last time I checked it was around 25 RPS, but I feel like that is out of date.

  • if you like metal so much you know that they have metal mags for airsoft guns

  • ...Yes, I do know that... The vast majority of my magazines (including the ones in this video) are metal.

  • OMG so nice ! The slowmo is so awesome

  • do you recommend the para or the mk1 over this? or not?

  • I dislike the MKI, but I would actually recommend the PARA over the MKII, and I almost wish I could have bought that one.

    - The PARA comes with a railed feed tray cover (you can attach scopes)

    - The PARA stock is more expensive to buy aftermarket than the MKII style

    - The PARA is much more useful for CQB and is much more maneuverable.

Both the MKII and PARA are amazing guns, I just say go for the PARA because you get a bit more for the money, and it is a more adaptable platform.

  • thanks! that helps alot

  • also if you want to attach a scope to the mk2model you can get a diffrent feed tray cover with a weaver rail on it

  • i recomend getting this one (mk 2 model) the saw is too heavy not to have a not full stock also the para models stock seems to woble even after tighting i have one but i sold it and got the full stock one and its so much better

  • ok thanks

  • What brand of midcaps are you using? It was to my knowledge that none could feed in this gun.

  • I'm using DBoys midcaps in this video, and they do not feed with the stock spring and a 10.8v battery. With an M120, however, they feed fine. I used a MAG midcap in the gun a while back, and to the best of my memory, it fed with the stock spring and 10.8v battery.

  • Yeah, MAG magazines are supposed to be the best ones.

  • They are great, but I just don't like that they are made of plastic... I'm a metal junkie.

  • Yeah, so am I; that's why i love the SAW so much. But since a lot of real steel magazines are actually plastic, it's not as big a deal for me with the mags as it is with the weapon itself.

  • I hear ya. I love all that is full metal, and I agree that it is more important for the gun to be metal.

  • How did you get the MAG midcaps to feed? I just got an 8-pack and I'm having problems getting them to work.

  • Really? I've only had one, but it worked flawlessly in this gun (and every other gun I tried.) To clear up any confusion, the magazines in this video are 68rd Dboys midcaps.

  • Yeah, but you had mentioned that MAG mids worked. I'll have to try it again, maybe lube it or something.

  • Make sure you break in the magazines before using them. Put a bit of silicon into the magazine, fill it and leave it for a few minutes, then empty it and repeat. Do this two or three times, then try them again. If this still doesn't work, leave it filled for an hour or two before trying again.

  • Thanks, I did that and they feed ok. I had to put some tape on the back to get it to seat properly but now it works fine.

  • How did you get the tip of your gun black?

  • ...paint.

  • is that little hole in the foregrip open to mount it on someting?

  • That was soo cool lol

  • you make awesome airsoft videos man. nice job!

  • I used a King Arms 470rd speed loader for this video. I find them more useful then the standard speed loaders, since they hold considerably more BBs.

  • In Scene when shooting Cola can

its be fantastick when shooting with 6 mm Gloving balls in night :D

  • wait, where the mags high cap? there regular right? well besides that, awsome vid and gun, would be really cool to own 1

  • I was just using the M4 midcaps because I didn't want to load up the box magazine for this video.

  • oh, well atleast they dont rattle :-)

  • wut batterey were you using?

  • 10.8v 3300 mAh

  • Does the battery go in the stock?

  • Yes, I guess I didn't do a good job of showing that in the video. The MKII holds the battery in the stock.

  • the slow motion shots = AMAZING!!!

do a slow motion of cutting a can in half; you may have to fix it to something with a nail, but it would be SO cool to see.

  • Thanks. I actually did tear some cans in half with this gun a while back; check my other video "Slow Motion Montage 1" and skip ahead to 7:29. There is an almost two and a half minute clip of a very slow-motion can-cutting. (It's actually too slow, I've been meaning to make a better can-cutting video.)

  • stop wasting soda asshole nice gun though im bought

  • They were all empty and filled with water lol.

And the latest versions of this gun should be even better than this one, this is around a year and a half old.
