It seams like a lot of overcorrection... Just relax and keep your nose straight. The old 240 is a very easy car to bend around corners. The later 7 and 9 hundred series, with their IRS are a little more unpredictable... at least in my opinion.

However, as a present Volvo V70 owner and a former Volvo 240 owner, I would hereby like to declare anyone insane that seriously claims a 240 to be anywhere near modern Volvos in any vital area.

I had a 244dl 86' and it wouldnt die. I ramped it about 16feet with 5foot height, no worries, hit a post did nothing to the car, and to boot...was a 3 speed automatic. SO MUCH FUN. one of my fav cars ever

Shit, i got an 740 turbo and it´s also nearly unbreakable. i fucked up a powerslide at 160 km/h on a county road and slided through a very rough acre, i thought i lost my front axle, but there was simply NOTHING! I love Volvo!!!!
