If Louganis could have competed in Moscow 1980, he would have probably won the gold, but he did not and so we have to compair their results about platform based on certain
data . Louganis was certainly the greatest in overall diving ( springboard comprehensive ) but Dibiasi was better than Greg in platform diving .
Some impartial experts say Dibiasi's style nearly to be perfect, cleaner than Louganis' one about the entry ( we are talking of the 10m platform ) .
Klaus Dibiasi was better than Louganis from platform : in 1976 Olympics Dibiasi was ill
& full of injuries and still he won the gold medal and Greg took the silver.
Olympics platform overall :
Dibiasi = 3 golds & 1 silver
Louganis = 2 golds & 1 silver .
Dibiasi is the only Olympic diver to have won 3 successive gold medals and he's the only diver to have won at medals at four Summer Olympics,which is something Louganis couldn't reach .
I think is useless To say which of the two was the best, one can see they both had similar careers. Dibiasi won silver in his first Olympic appearance and so did Louganis. I think Louganis would have done the same if he could have competed in Moscow in 1980, but now we'll never know... I think they both are awesome, I like Louganis better, but that's very personal and in no way takes away the merits of a giant like Dibiasi... Keep in onposting thos great videos...
Terrific footage of a great diver. Great shots of his coach/father. I have several competitions with Klaus and other international divers. I'll post the soon.

daisymasculino my comment is quite impartial and competent, which may not be said about your one .
If you had read more carefully my words instead of posting your ridiculous and stupid comment full of personal one-way redundant nonsenses, you
would have "discovered" that I was talking of REAL FACTS and expert opinions about one specific subject ( the Olymp. platform ) .
Just check among staths and impartial experts' opinions and you'll see by yourself.
