aish!! still cant decide between 70-200 f4 L USM or 70-300 f4-5.6 L usm. Help me please

@nokiasaya81 If you're doing sport photography, you'd most likely need the IS, so if you're not getting an 70-200 f/4 IS USM, then go with the 70-300, because you have the IS. Well, should have the IS (i'm positive the L version offers IS)

I have this beautiful lens, too. I love the quality, fast focus and lower weight. The 2.8 version is so big... i will need an slave to travel with him. Lol!

Damn, I want this too but no, I saw the 135mm f/2L and I was stunned. BUT NO AGAIN, I got attracted to strobist stuff (speedlites, not fancy alienbees and such). So, for now, I'm going to invest on entry level strobist equipment (looks at phottix and yungnuo. Most experienced shooters recommended me those stuff since they're really cheap).

The F/2.8L IS II that just came out is better. The F/4L IS takes sharper images than the original F/2.8L IS.

I have this lens and a 5D mk II and it is an awesome combination.

@TheTalkingHandShow --- nah... it's not that heavy as to mount tripod on the lens. Hence the reason why the lens doesn't come with mount

Don't worry about the strain Their both Metal mounts, allthough you might want to hold by the lens instead of only the body when picking it up.

U meant why it's hard to shoot video? I was just testing my Canon 7D video mode... the only interesting subject (short of me leaving the house) is to shoot video of my lenses :p

But shooting still photos with the 70-200mm IS is super! I love how the photos turn out with the lens. f/2.8 would have been cool but the extra 700g would have strained the already heavy Canon 7D + the 70-200mm lens... will shoot video with 70-200mm soon...
