  • @clickswitchh yep it's bernard

  • will there ever be a band like this in the the future? I'm afraid they were the last ones.

  • La mia preferita anche se infinitamente triste.

  • Just the song. Simple as. Beautiful.

  • One of the greatest songs ever written - the guitar near the end is ingenious.

  • inlove <3

  • "like skeletons ever so pretty"

  • Goddamn I haven't listened to this track for years, Simon's drumming is perfect.....

  • The best there is ..the best there was and the that there'll always be!!!!!Simply mesmerising..

  • Best track they ever made imo.

  • Loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeetttttttttttttt

  • dunno why this album gets such bad rep compared to the first one, I found it much better - loved at the time (apolgy - I'm a guitarist, was a big Butler fan)

  • @briandecork - It was fantastic though wasn't it? Therefore no apologies necessary, I understand you from America, Suede was class even in their inception of classless behavior it was class.

  • magic

  • crucial song. dark and sexy and moody and mad.

  • sounds a bit like panorama 2 :)

  • plz change the color of text.

  • words are useless. im in love.

  • One of those songs that shakes your heart and soul and makes you cry without tears....simply perfect, vocals, lyrics and guitar!!

  • Anyone have any idea about the meaning of the lyrics? I find suggestions of lesbianism - "they share mascara, I pretend" and of infidelity "both of us need her" (or does "her" refer to something not someone?) and "There in her arms, there in her legs, well I'll be in her head". Anyone have any ideas, please? I love this song to bits after a couple of listens after being introduced to the album recently. This is the best track to me, followed by New Generation and Still Life.

  • @opalescence84

But where does she go, what does she do

How does she feel when she's next to you

How does she feel when she's in your bed

When you're there in her arms

There in her legs, Well i'll be in her head,

Coz that's where i go, and that's what i do

and that's how it feels when the sex turns cruel

Yes both of us need her, This is the Asphalt world

Very pesrsonal painfull lyrics aimed at Damon Albarn who was with Brets ex Justine Frischman. A lot of Brets songs then where about that.

  • @blakefish80 No, it's not about Damon Albarn. Brett Andersons girlfriend at the time was also seeing another woman.

  • @joeisaflyingfish I heard an Interview with Brett about 6 months ago on local radio. He said both his first two Albums were both very bitter and mostly about Damon and Justine

  • @blakefish80 The lyrics fit much better the other way though: 'who does she love, is it me or her?' 'she's got a friend, they share mascara'. Anick, i think her name was?

  • @blakefish80 Just double checked and Wikipedia also stated that this and The Wild Ones were bot about his girlfriend Anick.

  • @joeisaflyingfish - Wikipedia is wrong then lol. It's common place knowledge that Justine was the driving force behind the first two albums. Brett has said it numerous times and it makes sense, the backstabbed pain in the songs and the fact he had to kick a woman he loved from the band because she was flaunting his rival. While Blur was sky rocketing in fame.

  • @blakefish80 The song about Justine dumping Brett for Damon Albarn is actually "Animal Nitrate". A few years later, Albarn wrote "Charmless Man" in reply.

  • @fiedleraufdemdach wait...that was "Animal Lover", i thought "Animal Nitrate" is about abuse...correct me if i'm wrong

  • @matdinozzo Yeah, you're right.

  • so elegant and powerful

  • so elegant

  • Piękny utwór z rewelacyjnego albumu Dog Man Star...

  • London.

  • It makes me cry anytime i hear it :'(

  • tremendo tema.

  • One of the greatest songs ever written.

  • Just a stunning song. It was amazing to see them play this at Manchester

  • the end is epic ...

  • Just perfect
