  • Thanks for your help Al, I'll have a search for such mounts.

    all the best, Jon

  • Hello, just got myself this airframe can I ask, did you have any problems mounting the 120 to the existing fire wall as the manual states a distance of 175mm from fire wall to rear of prop hub and I'm just thinking this is a fair distance to cover with a 120 engine on a 120 size engine mount, did you have to change the fire wall in any way?

  • @Jonsouthall Hi, not the firewall but I used longer engine mounts ( I don't recall the make but they are the "T"-shaped ones, black reinforced nylon). No issues with this so far. With the 120 motor, make sure all of the heavy radio bits are as far forward as possible to get the CG in the right position. it is s lovely aircraft to fly!! Al

  • Hello, is this the same airframe they recommend a 45 - 50cc petrol, if so it seems to fly just nice on the SC120 and 45cc sounds over powered.

  • @Jonsouthall Hi,yes it is. I imagine that it would be way over-powered with a 50 cc petrol in it, it flies in a very scale way with the 20 cc 4-stroke. Al
