Awwww, I can relate to this, I've seen so many of my friends in pain I just wanted to go over and ask them to share their tears with me, then maybe they wouldn't suffer so much. And the ironic thing is, near the end of the song I was shaking and gasping but couldn't cry, and I actually wondered wether I had run out of tears. T^T
this is why i love the vocaloid community. it shows the other side of people through the eyes of those in the every day. not the eyes of pop stars who are in many ways sociopaths. this the work of real people. y'know, the ones with souls. :/
To all the people saying it sounds like Hello, Planet./Wanderlast/Shuumatsu ga Yattekuru, that's because it's sasakure.UK writing all of them. He uses similar motifs through all of his work. It's awesome nonetheless.
I just love this work! Who ever did it is wonderful! But every time the opening starts I look for my mom, the opening sounds like shes quietly yelling my name lol.
Lovely translation work. The song might not be the originalest ever, but the lyrics sure make up for it. One thing, though -- doesn't "kimi no bun made naku" mean something more like "I'll cry your share [of tears]?" Or does bun have other meanings my pitiable moon knowledge don't cover?
@TheUndeadNinja Yeah, I considered (post-video) that it's probably more along the lines of "I'll even cry for you," which makes equal sense with the following line. ("I've been crying all the way, so you shouldn't" versus "I'm crying for you, so you don't have to.")
I pretty much got the line in the video by reading "bun" as something similar to "koto," which I THINK it can be, but the other way seems a bit more reasonable to me now.
Hm, now I wonder why human was put in parenthesis? :o Well, then again, don't know if sasakure's made another sequel to Hello, Planet but I believe it's done and dealt with, and another thought is the boy[?] kinda looks like he's got some animal ears going on on top of his head.. :3 Love Sasakure's works

Yes, Miku is singing, but the brown-haired male may just be a random person to support the song.

<3 I love this. About the MMD, I don't really care. It's a great song otherwise.

@vgperson Judging by the theme of the song, I think Ninja is right.
Well, I cant say I really care, since both translations are correct, as far as I can tell.
I just like "I'll cry your share of tears" more because I think it's cute. > w >

This video seriously blows my mind. It's really cool and crazy and confusing and cute mashed together.

I think Miku sees all the bad things in the world and cries about them and after she has cried for a while she doesn't feel as sad.
shinekishm 1 year ago
The chorus sounds like it has the same rhythm as Hello Ohello.
Every time it started up I kept expecting "I say Hello Ohelllo~"
snowyarticuno 1 year ago
@snowyarticuno Well, the creator of this song is the same who created Hello Planet, so.

snowiedoll 1 year ago
I think the reason you think you heard the chorus before is because Sasakure uses the same chord for many of his song.
Remember Hello Planet? I think that's where he first used that string of notes.
alasanof 1 year ago
Oh how this reminds me that I wish I could be at Comiket to get Sasakure's new CD. :( This and Tiger Rampage are really great songs.
The chorus does sound similar to *Hello, Planet, but it just makes me like it more!
