I always thought he said 'just a small guitar injection' right before the solo. In the version from the Peele program that's definitely what he said. sbyrne1 can you let me know where you got these lyrics? I just listened to the studio version and it sounds like he could be saying striped, but I'm almost certain it's injection.

@bartman5347 I can see where you might think that - it could be interpreted that way. But I seriously doubt that Phil would write a song with the reference to the Virgin Mary, associating it with heroin. He was very religious - as many of his friends testified in a lot of documentaries. It may have been subconcious, but it cannot be put down to heroin directly. The 'falling down' is about drugs possibly, but the song is spiritual.
