Onision, I'm not hating on you when I say this but, animals have amino acids and more proteins in meat than vegetables could ever have. So...... Until the country puts healthy chemicals and vitamins into plants that will make them more healthy than meat, we'll still be eating meat. I learned that while vegetables and fruits may have protein, meat still has more lipids and amino acids so its good to eat meat. Unless they put amino acids into plants without killing anymore animals.

I happen to believe that people do not have a "right to their opinion" as most people put it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that people should be threatened until they adopt a new opinion. I am also not stating that people should be constantly harassed until they adopt your opinion. What I am merely stating is that all people should have to listen to the constructive criticisms of other people. As a culture we need to start being more vocal about our opinions.
The reason why I say this is because many people in our culture purposefully isolate themselves from criticism. The consequence is that many people have uninformed views. This affects more than the person who holds them. These are the same people who elect our leaders. We can no longer tolerate a culture of misinformed people.

Generally speaking, Opinions are requested while judgments don't require a request. I think people trip themselves up by leaving that request for an opinion open ended or opinions are provided when a post in a thread is intended for another person.
If a post is specifically worded for another then it should be up to that person to respond. You should ask for the opportunity to voice yourself to respect the two people having the conversation.

Onision, and anyone else willing to discuss this, would two vegetarian parents choosing their child's diet (ie no flesh) be forcing their opinions on that child? The same way two parents might make a child go to catholic church, read the Bible every night and they, the parents, thinking they are doing their child good, is also forcing their opinion on the child. Think about it.
