The headphones are waterproof, and yes, you can hear plenty of sounds including your air intake sounds, etc. :-) The air hose is attached to a waist belt, so that it's out of the way and doesn't tangle up. Nice and neat.
It's a good idea to get certified before using a system, as you're still breathing compressed air and there are risks associated with any type of diving......so get certified first. :-)
cool, you can actually do metal detecting underwater, can you actually hear anything with those headphones ? How come the air hose is attached to your back ?
I use a Minelab Excalibur 1000 detector. You can hear very well with the head phones. The hose is attached to a belt around my waist, just to keep it in place, and comes round under my arm so the regulator reaches my mouth to breath with. That way the hose doesn't float free and risk entanglement.

Thankyou! Yes, the hookah system is an interesting way to dive if you'd like a change from carrying scuba tanks. :-)

Nice! What kind of underwater camera was you using?

I use a Canon Powershot A640 (10 mega pixels) in an underwater housing. I can take about 20min film with it using the memory card I have for it.

Cool video Relic :) Never done hookah diving before so interesting to see a video. Do you prefer hookah or scuba?

Gidday Sas, I enjoy the hookah for the extra bottom time in the shallows, when i'm exploring an interesting site. But I love scuba too.
