  • The headphones are waterproof, and yes, you can hear plenty of sounds including your air intake sounds, etc. :-) The air hose is attached to a waist belt, so that it's out of the way and doesn't tangle up. Nice and neat.

  • It's a good idea to get certified before using a system, as you're still breathing compressed air and there are risks associated with any type of diving......so get certified first. :-)

  • still need diving C card correct? for hookah diving cuz of the air embolism thing? and saftety issue?

  • Great Video, excellent music selection...

I am in process of building my own Hooka for some hawaiian underwater metal hunts (free-divin' it is too hum-bug).. Aloha, UC

  • Very nice video. Thanks for sharing. I can't wait to get out there in the water with my excal soon.

  • Great video! Maybe you could show some of your finds at the end? HH

  • Garrett Sea Hunter 2 works just as good (at half the price!!)

  • My goodness...this is a captivating video!

Well filmed and now..as a diver..I want to try the Hookah sytem. It appears effortless.

    Thanks for posting..good music..too!

  • Thankyou! Yes, the hookah system is an interesting way to dive if you'd like a change from carrying scuba tanks. :-)

  • cool, you can actually do metal detecting underwater, can you actually hear anything with those headphones ? How come the air hose is attached to your back ?

  • I use a Minelab Excalibur 1000 detector. You can hear very well with the head phones. The hose is attached to a belt around my waist, just to keep it in place, and comes round under my arm so the regulator reaches my mouth to breath with. That way the hose doesn't float free and risk entanglement.

  • Magnifique .. video .. j'adore . !!

  • Nice! What kind of underwater camera was you using?

  • I use a Canon Powershot A640 (10 mega pixels) in an underwater housing. I can take about 20min film with it using the memory card I have for it.

  • Cool video Relic :) Never done hookah diving before so interesting to see a video. Do you prefer hookah or scuba?

  • Gidday Sas, I enjoy the hookah for the extra bottom time in the shallows, when i'm exploring an interesting site. But I love scuba too.

  • Thanks Marc. Coins in the video are modern Aussie currency!

  • Hello LaDigger, thanks for the compliment! The music is from the group One Republic.

  • Fantastic Video Relici! Beautiful marine life, enjoyed that, who is the artist of your background music,I like it.Thanks
