Um.. I Really Need Your Help , Once I Upload My Video With A Camera Normally It Takes 15 Minutes For Only 12 Seconds To Be Uploaded So If You Know How to Reduce File Or Something Please Tell Me Thanks !
i can have the same quality videos with a recorder device that i bought for only 9 bucks and it come with the software necessary to convert, edit, etc your videos
i have easycap too. It's superior to this, yes. This is a home made method for people who just want to upload videos with their already available house hold appliances.
Dude Ive been looking all over youtube like for 4 weeks but it felt like 4 ever. Finally I can make Roblox vidoes. But can I record the DVD from my computer?
ive done all of that but when i put my dvd-rw disk on the computer no files come up when i go on the dvd. it comes up when i go on my dvd recorder and then title list. does any1 know what is wrong?
thanks for this! i have a question though: do you know any high-def cameras i can use for my ds games? my mom won't let me use an emulator so i am stuck.
you need a regular computer, not a laptop. The only reason you would need a laptop is if you're at a game convention or something and need to capture film.
I have a problem. When I hook up the Cube to the dvd recorder directly I get the game but there is a slight time delay that renders me unable to play without screwing up. Then I tried hooking up the Cube to the Tv and recording via conneting an output av cable from the tv to the recorder. When I record this way I get no time delay and clear video but the audio for some reason is really low on the playback. I have to crank up the volume on tv to uncomfortable level to get normal audio on playback
I have the same exact problem. Theres always a little lag/delay when I record with the dvd recorder and play directly. That's why I record a match on a VHS first, and then after all my play. I record the VHS onto the DVD recorder. That way, there's no lag and I can select what parts I want on the DVD.
just get a dazzle- they cost either$50 for the chaper one or $90 for the better one- just gte one of those (they are worth it and have better quality) You can even record in HD on the Pinnacle Studios software
Most DVD recorders should record on the best settings by default, so it should record exactly as it looks onscreen. To be honest, if you already own a decent DVD recorder, there isn't any need for a Dazzle.
I was fortinate to recieve a £400 DVD recorder as a birthday gift, and I'll choose that over a £50 dazzle anyday! =P
no, you put the game into the input of the dvd recorder and the output goes to the tv. Or if you record with VHS first and then want to go DVD, put the output of the VCR to the input of the DVD recorder, and the output of the dcd recorder goes to the TV.
an add on to my other comment is that i am REALLY tired of using my method (recording with video camera, playing it back on a different tv then recording my parts i need with a digital camera. and with the digital camera, it only takes 60 sec of vid).....the method i use is very poopy, and has horrible quality
k, i need help....i have a Ps3 hooked up to a high definition TV. My parents are saying that theres no possible way to record my games. they say that DVD recorders wont hook up to the TV because the DVD recorder is not in High-def. Im not allowed to use a dazzle or anything, so what do you have in mind i should do?
Hey man i got two questions, one my computer doesn't have a DVD burner, it's a older computer, but my sister has a laptop that has one, my question is she isn't going to like if I put a DVD ripper on her laptop can I just upload it straight to Youtube? My other question is you said you can put only one video on at a time, If you aren't going to edit it, can you just upload it straight to Youtube?
yes, I have that problem too. Yes, you can youse a splitter, but they cost around 15-30 dollars. Usually I DO NOT play while the dvd recorder is connected, I record it using a VCR first, then I record the tape to DVD, but if thats too much work, then do whatever you usually do, but melee isn't good with any type of lag.
Good god, your DVDs are liney. I don't know what you're doing, but I've always used AutoGK and XviD and they look leagues better. I wonder if Youtube will take H.264...
PLEASE HELP!!! i did all this but when i go to the screen where my xbox is supposed to be displayed i can hear sound but there is a message saying "u cannot record this channel"
whoah ho lol! The xbox must be designed with protection against recording.. try using vhs to record first, and then putting it on dvd, if you record straight with dvd, i think xbox sends a signal with that message to whatever recording device that you're using.
Wow.. Does the rest of the gameplay on your video come out okay? No bugs? (besides the wide screen view, I'm working on that) Let me look into this. I haven't tried this with an xbox before, only my wii, gamecube, and ps3. Is it 360?
yes its a 360 and it doesnt actually show me the gameplay of my xbox, it just says a black screen with "you cannot record on this channel" on it, but i can ehar the gameplay in the backround
Hmm, I actually HAVE recorded film on 360 using this method, and the video showed up.. fine. Are you using component cables? One thing I suggest you do is test the recording method with another one of your systems, if you have them. Try a ps2 or gamecube. Actually, you might as well try recording a minute or two of regular tv. If it shows up on those as well, it's your tv settings preventing the picture. If those work fine, then it's your 360 settings.
well... it does let me record on one of the other dvd channels which is the tv 1, so yes i can record tv shows etc. its just my 360 for some reason... ill check my seetings on both tv and 360 and see but if i cant nothing its prob copyright or something
wma is also an audio format (windows-media-audio). You're probably talking about WMV (windows-media-video) All you have to do is import your Mpeg to windows movie maker, and save the movie file again.
I have a/v cables going from the dvd recorder to the tv :/ all dvd recorders have video output, unless you're talking about those cheap capture dvd devices. DVD recorders and those mini capture devices are not the same thing.
Well I tried changing the width and height from the default 480x480 to 400x400, and I also converted in slow speed. Still the same result though. I uploaded the video as is so you could see exactly what i'm talking about. It's my only video if you care to look at it real quick.
I saw all those lines while you were attacking bowser. The rest of the vid looked like it came out good. But that is a problem. I sent you a message to your inbox.
It's quite simple. The lines you see are called "interlacing". Your DVD recorder simply cannot deinterlace lines, is all. You'll have to do it another way. I suggest downloading VirtualDub and using the Deinterlace filter. Should clear it right up.
It's either one of two things. You're DVD codec on your computer is what makes the output like that. Try installing new dvd codecs on your pc. Or, you'll have to try changing the width and height to a slightly smaller size in the options menu. Also, change the speed to "slow", so that it rips the DVD more precisely. If all else fails, you may need a different DVD converter. I haven't found one more reliable than dvd-to-mpeg though.
Great vid! I have one question though. After I've converted my video through DVD-to-MPEG, my video quality is dramatically reduced. It has lots of lines and static. (I'm recording my SSBM training mode WR's.)
if the blank DVD isnt RW, everything will still work okay, but you're taking a risk because you can only use a normal blank disc once. If you mess up, you wasted a DVD, and you got nothing done!
no sorry i was replying to someone else's comment, i can see that your using a PC. while im here though i might as well ask if you know if your method works on macs? cheers
The trial lasts forever. The reason it is a trial is because it says only partial conversion. However, for this purpose it will convert your entire video.
You need to completely erease the DVD. To do this, go to my computer, right click on the DVD, and select explore. To the left, you should see an option that says erase DVD-RW. If all else fails, you'll need to find a program that has an ERASE DVD option built in, such as Sonic Digital Media Home (Which came with my computer)

thanks on telling us how to make these kind of vids just so i know how do you delete a vid from the DVD-RW?

oh and how long does the trail last for the DVD-to mpeg converter?
reaperclone1 3 years ago
The trial lasts forever. The reason it is a trial is because it says only partial conversion. However, for this purpose it will convert your entire video.

You need to completely erease the DVD. To do this, go to my computer, right click on the DVD, and select explore. To the left, you should see an option that says erase DVD-RW. If all else fails, you'll need to find a program that has an ERASE DVD option built in, such as Sonic Digital Media Home (Which came with my computer)
