  • Um.. I Really Need Your Help , Once I Upload My Video With A Camera Normally It Takes 15 Minutes For Only 12 Seconds To Be Uploaded So If You Know How to Reduce File Or Something Please Tell Me Thanks !

  • that method is too expensive

i can have the same quality videos with a recorder device that i bought for only 9 bucks and it come with the software necessary to convert, edit, etc your videos

    It is called Easy Cap

  • i have easycap too. It's superior to this, yes. This is a home made method for people who just want to upload videos with their already available house hold appliances.

  • then tell that to the user too

  • its in the description.

  • @soplox5 where did u buy it all i can find is the dazzle for 70$

  • haha ohh well i used to play that game like 2 years ago but im done with it. i play falco and fox they the best in that game.

it looks like youre pretty skilled in that video well nice combos... piece

  • thanks mean, peace.

  • Thanks, really useful =D

  • why do u say with a laptop or a digital camera if it doesn't work when u use a laptop

  • it says WITHOUT a laptop or digital camera. Read the title.

  • to get rid of lines u turn down contrast

  • @gergru i\s that brightness

  • ive done all of that but when i put my dvd-rw disk on the computer no files come up when i go on the dvd. it comes up when i go on my dvd recorder and then title list. does any1 know what is wrong?

  • you need to get a new tv those lines are annoying

  • how would i hook up a ps3 to a dvd thingy?

  • thanks for this! i have a question though: do you know any high-def cameras i can use for my ds games? my mom won't let me use an emulator so i am stuck.

  • lol the most expensive ones :(

  • oh thanks i might have to start saving again

  • Hey, I've done this. But there's lag so it's really hard.

  • you need a regular computer, not a laptop. The only reason you would need a laptop is if you're at a game convention or something and need to capture film.

  • Your camera is good

  • I have a problem. When I hook up the Cube to the dvd recorder directly I get the game but there is a slight time delay that renders me unable to play without screwing up. Then I tried hooking up the Cube to the Tv and recording via conneting an output av cable from the tv to the recorder. When I record this way I get no time delay and clear video but the audio for some reason is really low on the playback. I have to crank up the volume on tv to uncomfortable level to get normal audio on playback

  • I have the same exact problem. Theres always a little lag/delay when I record with the dvd recorder and play directly. That's why I record a match on a VHS first, and then after all my play. I record the VHS onto the DVD recorder. That way, there's no lag and I can select what parts I want on the DVD.

  • It still sucks in both ways lol

  • Comment removed

  • just get a dazzle- they cost either$50 for the chaper one or $90 for the better one- just gte one of those (they are worth it and have better quality) You can even record in HD on the Pinnacle Studios software

  • Most DVD recorders should record on the best settings by default, so it should record exactly as it looks onscreen. To be honest, if you already own a decent DVD recorder, there isn't any need for a Dazzle.

I was fortinate to recieve a £400 DVD recorder as a birthday gift, and I'll choose that over a £50 dazzle anyday! =P

  • rather have the 1st option of quality

  • I can onli record w/o laptop or cam on d pc onli if i am nt wrong..cannot record a high quality video frm d PS3 w/o a cam..

  • u push fast buttens?

  • "DUDE" smash bros is "THE SHIT" rock on XD!!!!!!

    lololololololololololololololololololololololol!

  • So is it possible to record videogames from tv onto laptop? What do I need? I've got a DVI & VGA connection

  • woah ur good

  • Thanks man i owe u oon seriously this video made me.....

    rate 5 stars

    subscribe

and send a friend invite :)

  • you rape with falco xD

  • lol thanks

  • Do i have to get RCA sl=plitters to record and play at the same time? :(

  • no, you put the game into the input of the dvd recorder and the output goes to the tv. Or if you record with VHS first and then want to go DVD, put the output of the VCR to the input of the DVD recorder, and the output of the dcd recorder goes to the TV.

  • that was really helpful thx. i have a hd camcorder but when i record and upload the quality sucks.

  • i just buy dvds from dollerrama lol so idc if i messed up

  • hondatrix shut the fuck up dick weed he's just tryin to help ppl.

  • flame dont be an ass there just asking qaustions

  • what r u talking about?

  • I have a digital camera , but I dont want to record the screen...

  • super smash bros BRAWL ftw(:

  • melee is better

  • an add on to my other comment is that i am REALLY tired of using my method (recording with video camera, playing it back on a different tv then recording my parts i need with a digital camera. and with the digital camera, it only takes 60 sec of vid).....the method i use is very poopy, and has horrible quality

    from again : garies16

  • k, i need help....i have a Ps3 hooked up to a high definition TV. My parents are saying that theres no possible way to record my games. they say that DVD recorders wont hook up to the TV because the DVD recorder is not in High-def. Im not allowed to use a dazzle or anything, so what do you have in mind i should do?

    from: garies16

  • there aren't any normal television's in your house? Any case, that is irrelevant, DVD recorders can hook up to a High def. I've done it before

  • Hey man i got two questions, one my computer doesn't have a DVD burner, it's a older computer, but my sister has a laptop that has one, my question is she isn't going to like if I put a DVD ripper on her laptop can I just upload it straight to Youtube? My other question is you said you can put only one video on at a time, If you aren't going to edit it, can you just upload it straight to Youtube?

  • Ok, this video helped me alot, but what if my computer can't play Dvds?

  • then you purchase a DVD driver and install it into your pc, or you don't use this method.

  • is it possible to do this with a vcr and a dvd player in one?

  • that's what i use

  • so what do u do with that cause mine doesnt have a button to record. only for the vhs unless it works for both

  • you still need a dvd recorder

  • thnx man this helped a lot ill subscribe!

  • and i am uploading a video right now

  • so f i use record gameplay a 2 year old sony handycam will the quality be just like the first example

  • yeah..

  • omg thank you so much! i've been looking for a good converter all day! you rock!

  • Thank you so much for sharing this guide. It really helped me for figuring out the frustrating converting part of the whole thing.

  • What if you're computer can't play DVDs, like mine. Do I have to buy a new computer?

  • yea. i got the same problem. :\

  • Thank you! Now I just have to buy a DVD recorder. I want to make a Ape Escape 3 playthrough.

  • ur damn good at that game

  • this really helps, it really does but it seems to much to do, equipment-wise.

  • how do i take care of the lag?

do i get a composit caple splitter?

where can i get one of those? price?

  • yes, I have that problem too. Yes, you can youse a splitter, but they cost around 15-30 dollars. Usually I DO NOT play while the dvd recorder is connected, I record it using a VCR first, then I record the tape to DVD, but if thats too much work, then do whatever you usually do, but melee isn't good with any type of lag.

  • thank you!

  • Good god, your DVDs are liney. I don't know what you're doing, but I've always used AutoGK and XviD and they look leagues better. I wonder if Youtube will take H.264...

  • really helped alot thanks

  • thx man.

it help me wonder and ur video answer my thoughts.thanks lots!

  • PLEASE HELP!!! i did all this but when i go to the screen where my xbox is supposed to be displayed i can hear sound but there is a message saying "u cannot record this channel"

PLease Help it says i cannot record it?? why???

    ITS NOT EVEN A CHANNEL!

  • whoah ho lol! The xbox must be designed with protection against recording.. try using vhs to record first, and then putting it on dvd, if you record straight with dvd, i think xbox sends a signal with that message to whatever recording device that you're using.

  • wats vhs?

  • video tape

  • oh right, well i tryed that aswell but it also says " you cannot record on this channel" when i try it with a video.

    =(

  • Wow.. Does the rest of the gameplay on your video come out okay? No bugs? (besides the wide screen view, I'm working on that) Let me look into this. I haven't tried this with an xbox before, only my wii, gamecube, and ps3. Is it 360?

  • yes its a 360 and it doesnt actually show me the gameplay of my xbox, it just says a black screen with "you cannot record on this channel" on it, but i can ehar the gameplay in the backround

  • Hmm, I actually HAVE recorded film on 360 using this method, and the video showed up.. fine. Are you using component cables? One thing I suggest you do is test the recording method with another one of your systems, if you have them. Try a ps2 or gamecube. Actually, you might as well try recording a minute or two of regular tv. If it shows up on those as well, it's your tv settings preventing the picture. If those work fine, then it's your 360 settings.

  • well... it does let me record on one of the other dvd channels which is the tv 1, so yes i can record tv shows etc. its just my 360 for some reason... ill check my seetings on both tv and 360 and see but if i cant nothing its prob copyright or something

  • do you have msn dude so we could talk more quickly?

  • hey flame how do u plug the dvd recorder to the wii? plz reply

  • nice u put the ssbb tournament REGISTRATION

    theme

  • good - i may have a few more quesions after i get an DVD recorder - but whyy do we have to record only to 15 minuttes

  • so u mean - put the mpeg video in movie maker and then save it again but put it in WMV

  • Yeah. Put the mpeg video in windows movie maker, and when you go to file, and click on "Save Movie File" it will automatically save it as WMV.

  • I mean WMA if i'm right

  • wma is also an audio format (windows-media-audio). You're probably talking about WMV (windows-media-video) All you have to do is import your Mpeg to windows movie maker, and save the movie file again.

  • how do u change it to WAV

  • WAV? What exactly do you mean? wav is an audio format

  • Can you use the Tivo Dvd Recorder? Lolz.... Can you?

  • thanks man i used to do sumthing like this but it was crappy TY

  • how do you see what youre doing when the wii video cables are in the dvd recorder, not the tv?

  • I have a/v cables going from the dvd recorder to the tv :/ all dvd recorders have video output, unless you're talking about those cheap capture dvd devices. DVD recorders and those mini capture devices are not the same thing.

  • DAMN I'm jealous of all your comments....

  • Well I tried changing the width and height from the default 480x480 to 400x400, and I also converted in slow speed. Still the same result though. I uploaded the video as is so you could see exactly what i'm talking about. It's my only video if you care to look at it real quick.

  • I saw all those lines while you were attacking bowser. The rest of the vid looked like it came out good. But that is a problem. I sent you a message to your inbox.

  • It's quite simple. The lines you see are called "interlacing". Your DVD recorder simply cannot deinterlace lines, is all. You'll have to do it another way. I suggest downloading VirtualDub and using the Deinterlace filter. Should clear it right up.

  • If you would like to remove the lines entirely, encode the video to be 320x240. It'll cut quality a bit, but remove all traces of interlacing.

  • Sorry I ddin't actually have my question in the last post. Anyways, is there way to fix my problem?

  • It's either one of two things. You're DVD codec on your computer is what makes the output like that. Try installing new dvd codecs on your pc. Or, you'll have to try changing the width and height to a slightly smaller size in the options menu. Also, change the speed to "slow", so that it rips the DVD more precisely. If all else fails, you may need a different DVD converter. I haven't found one more reliable than dvd-to-mpeg though.

  • Great vid! I have one question though. After I've converted my video through DVD-to-MPEG, my video quality is dramatically reduced. It has lots of lines and static. (I'm recording my SSBM training mode WR's.)

  • o nvm i was alredy thinking 2 dat but i didnt want 2 do it that but since dats da only way im not gonna bother :( i just get a gd cam

  • Wow, I really want to do this. Thanks for posting!

  • thanks flame:D

  • wow that was a huge waste of my time.

  • So.. whats happens if the blank CD isnt RW?

  • if the blank DVD isnt RW, everything will still work okay, but you're taking a risk because you can only use a normal blank disc once. If you mess up, you wasted a DVD, and you got nothing done!

  • I have another question. When i record, and the video is about 8 mins when i put the disk into the computer it says that there is nothing on it.

  • are you using a mac?

  • No. Does it look like I'm using macintosh?

  • no sorry i was replying to someone else's comment, i can see that your using a PC. while im here though i might as well ask if you know if your method works on macs? cheers

  • lol u even have windows xp background.

  • lol 1st clip:. that guy must have fast fingers xD

  • Just use a Capture Card... Yeash

  • ur missing the point of the video. Read the description.

  • thanks on telling us how to make these kind of vids just so i know how do you delete a vid from the DVD-RW?

  • oh and how long does the trail last for the DVD-to mpeg converter?

  • The trial lasts forever. The reason it is a trial is because it says only partial conversion. However, for this purpose it will convert your entire video.

  • You need to completely erease the DVD. To do this, go to my computer, right click on the DVD, and select explore. To the left, you should see an option that says erase DVD-RW. If all else fails, you'll need to find a program that has an ERASE DVD option built in, such as Sonic Digital Media Home (Which came with my computer)

  • ok thanks

  • Thanks so much! High quality vids may be closer than I thought.

  • Dude thanks alot man Ill go try that

  • Awesome!

  • THANKS!

    :D
