@medickinson i would only get into this to hurt you and to apply as much pressure as humanly possible to permenately disable you and hear that joint snap. I would say; 'one less woman acting macho'. that would be an awsome vidoe to post on utube, watching u thrash around in pain and crying. mabye that would end the sport with women once and for all
Tom - It's actually very safe, MUCH safer than boxing, karate, ect. Even with pressure and pain applied to a joint it takes a lot of purposefully applied force to fracture or even break a join.

This was just a bad incident, I have been studying BJJ for 3 years now and never really been hurt.
