This was such a good game for its time. I finished the first one in EGA and then bought this one when I saw it on VGA, the box was really cool because it if you tilted it, the face turned into a skull. Anyway I re-finished this game another 3x because I liked it so much. All the Police Quests were great, PQ3 probably the best for its time.

@potsy5656 Well, it was a remake. A series of Sierra games got a huge remake when VGA came out. Police Quest was one of them. (Space Quest, King's Quest, and Quest for Glory are three others.)

Once had a suspect who managed to shift his cuffed hands from behind him to in front of him while we weren't paying attention. Many bricks were shat. Thankfully he didn't try anything funny after that.

For a game made in '87, those graphics are above and beyond. They look like graphics from '97 if I didn't know any better. Also, at Good old Games site, they have all four of these plus S.W.A.T.1 and 2 for $9.99 each. P.Q. 1-4 is a pack, so it's $9.99 for all four, same for S.W.A.T. it's a pack of two.

Two things that's missing, which would've made these game-ending scenarios even funnier, is Officer Walls sternly reprimanding you for incorrectly following police procedure and that somber, postscript music from PQ3.

Heh. The correct thing to do was to use the nightstick from the inventory on the biker.

As far as I remember, cops at least pretend to be competent in hand to hand combat without the stick and can point the gun if he feels it necessary. When a cop shows you the inside of his gun, you become very cooperative.
