Nemesis is going to outsell many books, and it`s pre-orders are much higher than Kick-Ass!! Can`t wait for this! CBR has some new news for it about the ad and the first cover.
No one got sued! Mark Millair has confirmed it in an interview, and he`s spoken with the editors at DC in which they are close friends, they just don`t want him mentioning Batman in an interview, it`s been significantly misinterpreted and twisted.
I also think Mark Millar is a excellent writer, next to Robert Kirkman, Geoff Johns, Frank Millar, Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman as well as many more. Steve Mcniven`s art looks fantastic!
Marvel's sounding desperate! U go back 2 the Claremont X-men, there was the ImperialGuard, clearly a take-off of the Legion, and b4 that, there was the Squadron Sinister / Supreme, no doubt, a rip on the JLA that goes on even 2day. And as u mentioned, the Sentry. Now, Nemisis?
Looks 2 me like Marvel is going 2 the well a bit 2 often, they keep xeroxing DC, Marvel may find itself the number two company inside of five years!
Having said all that, I do love McNivens' art...oh well.
dc and marvel are just competitive thats all that is. I hope they dont go overboard with this. Story like this scare me cause they always seem to get good or weried
If this does become a movie, you can bet Millar is going to delay the issues just so the comic can match the movies hype. Examples: Kick Ass. Also this feels like he is ripping off Dark Knight. What is he trying to do, a Mcfarlane on Chris Nolan's Joker? and here I thought he was moving to DC.
we would be fucked

Not much point trying to examine Mark Millar's work, it ain't that intelligent or deep, it's just spectacle, that's why people buy it.

I think the character would be very interesting, but the guy got sued, so I don't think it'll happen.

The article says that it's a character like the Joker but has the money to have Batman's gadgets. And that sounds awsome to me.

Sounds like a bizarre story. What if Batman was Joker? Sounds scary.
