@DWarrior4 Cataclysm was really good (The best expansion so far imo) - And Dragon Soul Heroic is probably the hardest raid I have been in (I have completed all raids on their appropriate level/patch since Molten Core) - Mists of Pandaria looks to be even better than Cataclysm for me :p

@googlerfu5 Pandaren were significant in lore before and they were even in the line to be implemented on the Burning Crusade. Draenei were the ones plucked from Blizzard's behind with a last-minute lore with environmental awereness actions and to make the Sin'Dorei storyline make more sence.

Easy modes are fine but I wish there was a way to do the hard modes unnerfed and get some reward the nerfed version does not have.More danger more reward.And I wish the casuals would take into account that not all players are like them and vice versa with the hardcores.There should be more difficulty modes for all dungeons.
tbh i look forward to it the whole oriental theme music, buildings , scenary <3 pokemon style pet battles sure why not , new class yay means people wont flavour of the month make rogues :D but pandas...meh its not me playing as one so fuck it

Then by level 40 I was bored. The story is good but the leveling just feels like an obstacle in the way of seeing more story. It's worth your while to just watch the cut scenes on youtube and save your money.

Everyone likes different stuff i guess and i understand that because of how much emotional investment players put in their characters. After i quit WoW i felt that sting too, but trust me swtor is superior in everything but arenas, but they will be added soon too.
By the way, Pandarem's are one of the oldest races in Warcraft. They just didn't come to the scenario because in the lore, Mo'gun (it's a race, not a bad guy btw) didn't enslave them yet.
This expansion has such huge potential. I can't wait. Been playing for years and years and only been let down once by the game...and that was when they changed the animations on DK horses. Other than that, it has been the most worth I've ever got for my money when it comes to entertainment.
Blizzard hasn't made the game all that easier, they've just made content more accessible by removing progression. IMO they need to bring back progression but make it easier to progress.

I have mixed feeling about MoP I am just worried about the fact that they have not announced a 'conflict yet' with all the expacs thus far we knew what the general goal was going to be. tbc was Illidan, WotLK had Arthas, Cata had Deathwing, all announced right away, and the trailer even says that it's a time of peace. We have been saving the world for years now. I haven't done alot of reading, so correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no 'big boss' yet.

0:47 in my opinion, simplifying and dumbing down are one in the same, but all they did to increase difficulty was give more hp to bosses, more damage, and then just throw in a bunch of new minimal variation events that you need to follow, that happen at the same time, every time

Ive been playing this game on and off since i was 14 years old (im 17 now) and all i have to say is there is this all powerful thing that people should apply in the game,tolererence. we all know how annoying the kids can be(trust me ive been there)and all i can say is yes, kids in the game are annoying.not much you can do except ignore them in chat and act like there not in your raid group. blizz has given the tools to avoid such playersjust need to put them to use otherwise no point having them

As somone whois only interested in PvP the new ideas for murderball and Payload bgs is going to be a great change from the current KoTH and CTF modes.. also the new talent system will infact add more choices to how you want to play as opposed to the current you have no real choice at all..
Oriental style is completely forced and unnatural, and doesnt match Warcraft fantasy setting in the slightest. And yes, pandas are an april fools joke race. Tauren are odd, but they have a quiet dignity to them, draenei... are pushing it, but having horns and hooves is not that uncommon to fantasy races. But panda martial art masters...

I think the argument that Blizzard keep making the game easier isn't really a valid one. Yes, they have added easier raid tiers, but its not like the hardcore raiders don't have heroic modes. They have just added more choices to cater to more players. Raiding isn't just for the hardcore anymore, but the hardcore still have a challenge. I don't get why people whine about it.
@Wildifepro Well, you are never going to be able to perfectly scale a raid to the level every player is at. It's just not feasible.
If you find say Normal modes too easy, then you should be trying Heroic modes. If then you find Heroic modes too hard and subsequently start moaning about how Normals are too easy, then that just shows your laziness to work at becoming a better player so you can beat the Heroic modes. Raiding can't be perfectly scaled for everyone. Just isn't feasible.
@Sherwinnicus Yea, the complaints are a bit exaggerated but im stil a bit disappointed that blizzard nerfed down normal contant so much. I used to get this great feeling of sadisfaction every time I took down a boss and it actualy took some time to clear the raidinstance instead of just a day like nowadays. After the 1st week the instance is cleared and then u have to wait for MONTHS before you get to see some new content. And yet again im to inactive for hardmodes..D: my perfect fit is gone. :(
@MrShadowGoat I can see your point. I've had a couple of similar experiences myself and yeah, it is annoying. But then, Blizzard can't scale raids perfectly to everyone's skill level.
However, why does being inactive mean you can't do hardmodes? If you find skilled players or arrange a team yourself to try hardmodes once or twice a week, you may not complete the content but you'll still have a challenge and something to do.
@Sherwinnicus Because I'll lack the gear requirements for hardmodes since I don't spamfarm the raidinstace and there won't be a single raidguild around LF an undergeared & inactive raider. :P
It's impossible to find 10 decent raiders without a guild that asks allot from your side.

Since cataclysm I ditched pve and focused on pvp only, getting to spend some time RL again thou on the bright side!

I am not a pve-er, but when I hear people saying the game I suspect you mean raids, but all you who complains, have you done the heroics modes? Are they really that easy? And when it comes to dungeons, ofcourse they get easy when you have gear... Equip bad gear if it is to easy for you and see the difference. Or try pvp. I know pvp is not all balanced, but it is challenging, as the players you play against set the bar for difficulty. I don't think everyone here are R1 in arena and farming hc DS.

@geenius3ab Lol no. The second most successful mmorpg launched in December. It became the fastest selling mmo to date at launch. In the same quarter, WoW lost 100k subscribers. Even when a game like SWTOR came out, WoW didn't really take a hit.

WoW didn't get a hit. Not really. It still has 10.2m people playing it which is at least 4x the number any other mmo has ever got to. And the numbers fluctuate between patches and all that anyway.

i dunno im not the biggest fan of adding pandas. its seems like one of their more gimmicky additions to the game. Also i think the pet battles will be fun but its just a clear ripoff of pokemon (holy i laughed my ass off at the blizzard rep sweating bullets at blizzcon when describing it. he knew they would laugh). Im still going to buy it and im giving it the benefit of the doubt but it does seem to show that creativity is dwindling (the game is 7 years old whaddya expect).

And up until recently, the RPG was canon, which had a treasure trove of information on the pandaren and Pandaria. So it's not like they just came up with this idea out of nowhere, they've been in the canon and supported in third-party resources for about twelve years now.

Blizzard lost subscribers because Cataclysm was too hard? That's just wrong.
It was hard, people complained, Blizzard "simplified" it, and it wasn't a challenge anymore.
People with more than two functioning brain cells realized that too, and left for either Rift, SWTOR or something else.
Cata Endgame is easier than before and Blizzard is losing more people every day.
Sadly, the only difficult thing in WoW now is PvP, and that's all gear based and RNG.

I have mixed feeling about MoP I am just worried about the fact that they have not announced a 'conflict yet' with all the expacs thus far we knew what the general goal was going to be. tbc was Illidan, WotLK had Arthas, Cata had Deathwing, all announced right away, and the trailer even says that it's a time of peace. We have been saving the world for years now. I haven't done alot of reading, so correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no 'big boss' yet.

Ive been playing this game on and off since i was 14 years old (im 17 now) and all i have to say is there is this all powerful thing that people should apply in the game,tolererence. we all know how annoying the kids can be(trust me ive been there)and all i can say is yes, kids in the game are annoying.not much you can do except ignore them in chat and act like there not in your raid group. blizz has given the tools to avoid such playersjust need to put them to use otherwise no point having them

Oriental style is completely forced and unnatural, and doesnt match Warcraft fantasy setting in the slightest. And yes, pandas are an april fools joke race. Tauren are odd, but they have a quiet dignity to them, draenei... are pushing it, but having horns and hooves is not that uncommon to fantasy races. But panda martial art masters...
Well if you haven't figured it out yet, theres over a billion people out there in the east Asia market, so you best shut it and be grateful WoW's not in chinese

I think the argument that Blizzard keep making the game easier isn't really a valid one. Yes, they have added easier raid tiers, but its not like the hardcore raiders don't have heroic modes. They have just added more choices to cater to more players. Raiding isn't just for the hardcore anymore, but the hardcore still have a challenge. I don't get why people whine about it.

@Wildifepro Well, you are never going to be able to perfectly scale a raid to the level every player is at. It's just not feasible.
If you find say Normal modes too easy, then you should be trying Heroic modes. If then you find Heroic modes too hard and subsequently start moaning about how Normals are too easy, then that just shows your laziness to work at becoming a better player so you can beat the Heroic modes. Raiding can't be perfectly scaled for everyone. Just isn't feasible.

@Sherwinnicus Yea, the complaints are a bit exaggerated but im stil a bit disappointed that blizzard nerfed down normal contant so much. I used to get this great feeling of sadisfaction every time I took down a boss and it actualy took some time to clear the raidinstance instead of just a day like nowadays. After the 1st week the instance is cleared and then u have to wait for MONTHS before you get to see some new content. And yet again im to inactive for hardmodes..D: my perfect fit is gone. :(

@MrShadowGoat I can see your point. I've had a couple of similar experiences myself and yeah, it is annoying. But then, Blizzard can't scale raids perfectly to everyone's skill level.
However, why does being inactive mean you can't do hardmodes? If you find skilled players or arrange a team yourself to try hardmodes once or twice a week, you may not complete the content but you'll still have a challenge and something to do.

It's impossible to find 10 decent raiders without a guild that asks allot from your side.
I don't see myself puggin hardmodes ether, my head is about to explode just by thinking of it.. :')
Since cataclysm I ditched pve and focused on pvp only, getting to spend some time RL again thou on the bright side!

I am not a pve-er, but when I hear people saying the game I suspect you mean raids, but all you who complains, have you done the heroics modes? Are they really that easy? And when it comes to dungeons, ofcourse they get easy when you have gear... Equip bad gear if it is to easy for you and see the difference. Or try pvp. I know pvp is not all balanced, but it is challenging, as the players you play against set the bar for difficulty. I don't think everyone here are R1 in arena and farming hc DS.

WoW didn't get a hit. Not really. It still has 10.2m people playing it which is at least 4x the number any other mmo has ever got to. And the numbers fluctuate between patches and all that anyway.

i dunno im not the biggest fan of adding pandas. its seems like one of their more gimmicky additions to the game. Also i think the pet battles will be fun but its just a clear ripoff of pokemon (holy i laughed my ass off at the blizzard rep sweating bullets at blizzcon when describing it. he knew they would laugh). Im still going to buy it and im giving it the benefit of the doubt but it does seem to show that creativity is dwindling (the game is 7 years old whaddya expect).

And up until recently, the RPG was canon, which had a treasure trove of information on the pandaren and Pandaria.
