and runs like crap. i bought two emachines for showhomes (H3504 running Celeron D at 3.20GHz) and its CRAP! the specs look nice but after a month the whole system goes down the drain. we switched it out with our old HP office computers, one at 2GHz and the other at 2.66Ghz. They both OWN the emachine. I heard that eMachine is fifth highest in sales and that cannot be right. HP is on top, but Dell is more flexible. Those two brands are all I trust. Maybe some IBM. I make custom computers

Can anyone help me? I have this same version of PC for about one year now. Just today I have been having a issue with my DVD/CD ROM. A month ago I was able to burn pictures to a CD, now the computer is saying I need to install my DVD/CD ROM to burn music. I looked in " My computer" and the drive does not even show up anymore. Does anyone know what could be going on and how to fix it?

My pc right click /hardware find the DVD [ both are in the same place] right click select REMOVE click ok reboot pc on the reboot it should pick it up - if not - - shut down pc - remove all wires going into the DVD -player - [ remove the wire from the DVD pc cable from both ends -remember which is which this is a good time to take a pic- ] reboot shut down - reinstall all wires - reboot if this doesn't fix it - if nothing works - try a different DVD

The bad thing is, this PC uses old shitty Pentium D, which has very poor proformence compare with its big brother- Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon X2. 1G is not enough for Vista.

I've seen alot of bad complaints about iBuypower, but if you give them time, they do make you a good PC. But I hear they have terrible customer service.

eMachines aren't for losers. They're for people who need basic tasks/picture collections done.

If you need a decent gaming machine quick, get one like this with an AMD Processor, a decent graphics card(Maybe a Nvidia 7100 or better), at least a gig of RAM, and wah-lah.
