Would like to add this, however: People! Get on your knees and do not get up until Lord will baptize you with Holy Spirit! With out of Holy Spirit reading bible or studying it will NOT go you ANY good. Holy Spirit have to reveal it to you personally. (take it from ex-baptist...)

Jehovah's Witnesses are good people following corrupt leaders. Eventually the seasoned JWs adopt the Society's deceitful ways. For example, many of the proof texts used to back up Watchtower dogma have nothing to do with what the Society claims they prove. Many times the many scriptural references at the bottom of the page is just a bluff. People don't bother to look them up. Check out my new book. I try to explain and correct their errors.

@amy2x Amen!  The verses that come to mind when I think of JW's are John 5:39,40. "You dilligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about Me, yet you refuse to come to Me to have life." These precious JW's with such a desire to live for God, are being led astray by the teachings of the Watchtower. Sadly that's what happens when people don't test mens words against God's Word as we are supposed to do. Acts 17:11

What I'd like to know is who ever ask them for an "endorsement" anyway? This article was a huge red flag and is one of the clearest examples of mind control and information control in recent JW history.

@earnestlyseeking It is extraordinary that you used the term "huge red flag". As I was watching this post, I was remembering the last months in my life as a JW, & remember thinking that all the "yellow flags" were turning "red".

I have a belief that it is this issue (a right to independent digestion of information) that will be responsible for the greatest number of Dub-youths to say "I have had enough!"

I think Ray's 1st book underscored this issue very poignantly.

Yes indeed, it the only way to make the "truth" your own, is to verify all information or ideas shared with you, no matter what the source. If one is discouraged to do so, then that would be a red flag to me. The tactic of information control only makes the individual feel compelled to look deeper into what is being hidden behind the curtain. Well presented, faved, thumbs up, and shared.
