  • You're right, this is boring. Counting aloud is NOT teaching rhythm. Children need to "feel" the beat and internalize it before they can successfully recreate the beat. If this video is the result of a dozen or more already familiar rhythm activities (marching, tapping sticks, using various rhythm instruments, etc...), then maybe. But even the kids look like they're bored.
