"some get the vision, start preach religion, yet they can't make decision when it comes to the right, they can't make decision when it comes to our rights."
What about MLK? He made a decision to practice non-violence.!
"I'm not a Rasta, because I don't believe that Emperor Haile Selassie is God. I don't believe in the whole, say, repatriation of black people back to Africa."
yes man he aint ras but still represent the culture n revolutionary thoughts of african ppl... n about this theres like a bible of stuff 2 talk about............ 1 luv!
Let's move away from antiquity...away from religion...and get INTERNATIONAL. We need revolution; this is our common ground. Religions divide the human race...an idea from antiquity. Religions are nothing more than a form of control over the masses, and today, more than ever, imperialism uses religion against us. So if you think YOUR religion is the right one, then wake up, because this is the age of reality...
Yes, and there is a pretty popular documentary after that name. Whatever the current organization of the ruling class, I am Marxist-Leninist at heart. After all, it was Marx and Engels that extensively exposed capitalism, and capitalist ruling classes for what they are---over 130 years ago, and in great scientific detail. And it was Lenin that interpreted this theory and successfully discussed and carried out its implementation. I especially like his concept of the VANGUARD.
I don't understand your comment. And in the short period of human history that the social-economic system of socialism has been experimented with, well, it has produced the most promising results that the totality of humanity has ever witnessed. Cuba alone, is a testimony of the possibilities and potential of socialism, which, is only the evolutionary stage toward communism, in which money will really have no meaning.
So to say their idea didn't work is very incorrect. It has produced societies with some of the best equal rights, ever. And not just rights for woman, etc., but economic rights. A distribution of wealth NOT based on exploitation. Furthermore, communism, that stage of society evolved to after socialism, has never been reached. So how can you possibly claim that it didn't work, when humanity hasn't even reached it yet?
Furthermore, we must not forget to include the discussion of the absolute viciousness that capitalist imperialism has undermined every socialist revolutionary movement in the world (see Killing Hope by William Blum). The use of torture, murder, death squads, misinformation, propaganda, war, rape, censorship...just about anything you can think of, is a better explanation of why socialism has had difficulty in the last decades.
@Gringosmasher yes man... life how it is suposed 2 be nowadays in big cities a di world... it makes us 2 concerned about havin some food n shelter dat... we cant even try 2 philosophize about socialism n comunism democracy... dats y music like this brings us 2 reality... most in latino america africa n asian... theres always a resistance ras...
Yes...exactamente. !Hasta la victoria siempre! I think Peter Tosh was "setup" because of his revolutionary militancy. And I always wonder how Marley died of gang-green. Other great voices have been crushed, too. Victor Jara, from Chile, was tortured before they killed him. The great guitarist/singer of revolutionary music had his fingers broken...they found his bones. As if to say, "You'll never play another revolutionary song again muthafucka."

"Dis is the age of science and technology but some ah we ah check fi antiquity"
He also might be speaking against black supremecy a little.
"Dis is the age of decision, so mek we leggo division"
Some Ras took offence to these lines. LKJ himself has never claimed to be Rasta.
