I use a hair bleaching cream for my eyebrows. My hair (all of my hair) is naturally a jet black color. I'd normally advise against using bleach meant for your head hair on your eyebrows simply because of the risk of getting it in your eyes. I never lighten my eyebrows in an attempt to get them really blonde though; just enough for the dye to take. My complexion is too dark for really blonde hair anyway (although, I have had it regardless).

@snookydoo17 I'd wait in between dying you hair and then bleaching. After it's bleached you can dye it another color. If you have bleach your hair more than once I'd wait 3 days in between bleachings

@BayBehhSophie I used Bleach and developer to lighten my eyebrows. Then put hair dye. My eyebrows (in my opinion) are too dark for bleaching cream.

@xxLovelyMe The eye is a very sensative organ (correct me if I'm wrong about our eyes being organs) and so yes if you get bleach in your eye and do not flush your eyes our immediately it will damage your eye. Most things that we put near and around our eyes are usually harmfully in one way or another.

i would stop bleaching them. i use to do my upper lip when i was like 12, 13 bc i couldnt get it waxed and bc of the bleach it stained my skin and its not patchy around there. that wont go away unless i get some cosmetic "surgery"

just do some brown eyebrows with a pencil thats what all non true blondes have it looks nicer

@mortiz157 It was a one time thing. Eyebrows are just like our hair on our head and our eyelash and how all hair falls out at some point. Well, my light eyebrow didn't last long enough. & I'm not the type of person to do something every 2 wks.

your so pretty :) good for you for doing your brows yourself! try and use an eyebrow spooly brush to comb through the bleach it will give u more accuracy

you know. that bleach around your eyebrows will bleach your skin also.... you'll have lighter skin around your eyebrows and it will look creepy... diont do this at home. go to a salon.

I didn't have that experience. I could maybe see that happening if you left it on for quite some time but it was maybe on for 15 minute if that.

That's really a matter of opinion. It looks a lot more natural to have light brown eyebrows with blonde hair then black eyebrows with blonde hair and the term albino is a lack of normal pigmentation in skin and hair color and usually including pink/red eyes. If you plan on calling me albino make sure you known the meaning.

It is not advised to use hair bleach on the face. facial bleach should be used to lighten the eyebrows. you could end up having a very bad reaction and at the end of the day it is very close to your eyes. why would you risk it? you should use facial bleach its safer.

Do you just use a small amount of the ingredients of the hair dye (to save the stuff) or do you have to just mix it all at once and waste a lot? It would make sense but I'm not sure how to get the right portions of ingredients. Sorry if you mentioned it... but I can't really hear you. :) thanks in advance!

For me... it seemed the the dye faded but there were still bleach & as time went by the bleached eyebrow hairs fell out or grew back to it's original color..

I have very few bleached or colored hairs on my eyebrows...

I hope this makes sense... It sounds quite weird.

Go to a beauty supply & ask them where they have their bleach & developer. Have them one of them tell you what developer to get, but bleach doesn't matter. I'd a bucket. I used half of it. I did all my hair twice though.

My hair is goes pass my collar bone by like 4 inches.

ya i thought the same when i bleached my hair but if you like the affect you should get like manic panic and color it because the fading affect looks really good with crazy colors like i did hot pink and the top was like reaaaly hot pink and it would turn magenta as you go down, i was suggesting bc i figured you wanted to be blonde and the ash toner does that

@bkity1 umm ash doesn't counteract yellow. The opposite of yellow is lavender or purple.
