Noticed in this video and the live in Dallas 1995 show the vocals seem a tad lower than the guitars. The guitars and bass are raw as fuck in this video. That is what Korn use to be about was being raw with the music. Some of the newer albums are over produced.
these guys were so ahead of their time...if you listen to it closely, what are bands like suicide silence and emmure doing now? a heavier, more sophisticated version of this kind of stuff...hard groovin, very detuned, dissonant half time metal...these guys made an enormous impact in the world of metal whether or not people want to admit it now...for whatever dumb reason, it's cool to goof on korn now even though the bands you love so much would not be who they are without them
Agreed, definitely. And I don't even listen to Korn. The only significant difference is that Korn was honest, whereas these poser bands pretend and try so hard to be brutal Death Metal.

Emmure's tab goes guitar tab goes... 100011011100011 and then theres a core scream and a double bass drum.

David is the reason dubstep exists and comparing Fieldy and Jon to Emmures fatasses is insulting. I do like Emmure theyre fun to listen to but Korn is Korn hahaha
