you know they only get one meal a day and if they cry, they tell another kid to kill them and if that person cries, they get killed too. the girl soldiers have it even worse because not only do they have to fight, they get raped all the time. some of them even get kidnapped from their own classroom and end up becoming a mini soldier.

Its easy to brainwash these vulnerable children into fighting wars. They dont question orders and do they as they are told so these children are essentially victims of war. The men that brainwash and exploit these children should be held responsible for what they have done and should also be held responsible for anything these kids have done

and my "if everyone cared about all the suffering in the world" didn't get across the point I meant. If we all kept the thought of the worlds atrocities in mind, we probably wont get on with our own lives. so While them kids are fighting for high scores on guitar hero... why not? I'd rather have my child happy than bogged down. (but ofcourse keep them aware)

Child soldiering, yes, its sad, however, a political reality for many of these kids. Equally dvastating and on the other end of hte spectrum is obesity which is also in my opinion, to quote, "unethical, unjustified, and all it does is to hurt others. IT is hell for hte children and their victims"

Do u guys think its weird that even christians get alot of flack for being who they are simply becoz they believe in God & somehow in the midst of the criticism find the strength to help? I mean the Muslim and Buddhist religion get more respect than Christianity & yet its only christians i see in the forefront doing something about the issues even whilst still being criticised.
