  • ummmm u peddle or it got engine??

  • My son knows that I have been wanting a velomobile and when he saw you going down Denny in Seattle, he called me right away. Keep those video's coming, they are very interesting.

  • Great! So after seeing it you "youtubed"? I work just west of Key Arena. I still haven't quite worked out the best way to get from there back to the bike paths on Dexter. I don't really like being on busy streets like Denny and Mercer, so I will see what I can come up with. It was raining pretty hard today. No problem, I stayed dry, but I could feel the wind!

  • I accidently removed your other comment. You said...

    Very sweet machine.

I noted the lights in other video's you have posted. I like all the lighting you have on it. One cannot be bright enough.

What price range are we looking at for a machine like that?

  • I like what the builder did with the lights too. Lots of flashing is a good thing to me.

This velomobile is priced around $6800 Canadian. The electric components are extra. It is built of kevlar with a pretty high build quality. I've owned it for about a week I guess and have about 80 miles on it.

I'm not sure I know all the right terms, but to answer your other question..

  • Is it a 3 speed internal hub with a cassette on the hub also?

  • It has a jackshaft with a 3 speed internal hub, a two ring front derailleur, and a 7 speed rear derailleur. So far I have never shifted the front ring. I mostly use the three speed hub, and secondarily use the rear derailleur.
